True, but that doesn't mean that you couldn't extend it ( you can cut out all the "thinking" parts which is a large section of the books, but they could still be longer - titanic was over 3 hours for crying out loud) _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.

Harry, and Hermione...shoulda been!

titanic was also for the older crowd. harry potter covers a wide variety of people. they have to make it enjoyable for other people too. id love it if harry potter was three hours long but i dont think its gonna happen. _________________

| Ok id just like to point out that the screenplay is done by Steve Kloves. He decides what parts from the books make it into the films, not the directers. the directers can decide what gets cut after filming but i think most of it is cut by kloves (who says he is always in contact with jk and she decides on alot of the cuts as well). so while i agree they need to be longer and that some cuts seem unneeded (i meen Neville has preaty much taken over for dobby. he told harry about the gillyweed and the room of requirment and i cant really think of a reason why) i think its going the way jk expects and as she has helped kloves since the first film. |

well yes but im sure she had alot to do with the screenplay in the 5th movie too. the agreement that she would be involved is the only reason she allowed the movies to happen in the first place. |

Personally I would like to see Alfonso Curon come back for the final movie. I found that his interpretation for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was well done. It was dark but at the same time, you felt the tender moments between Sirius and Harry and Harry and the trio.
I think he would be fabulous at the portions featuring the Dark Lord and helping with the final personality development of the Trio.
I mean, he made Daniel, Emma and Rupert write ESSAYS on their characters people, so that they could be more in touch with them!
(I do wish however, that Steve Kloves would come back and do the screenplay...) _________________
