Nope, it's spelled correctly
From Webster's dictionary...
Prefect
Pronunciation: 'prE-"fekt
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French, from Latin praefectus, from past participle of praeficere to place at the head of, from prae- + facere to make -- more at DO
1 : any of various high officials or magistrates of differing functions and ranks in ancient Rome
2 : a chief officer or chief magistrate
3 : a student monitor in a usually private school
It's always been spelled that way... and wait, did you say you downloaded the book? _________________

Nope, I have the US versions. Check the books again, you might have just read it wrong. It's definitely prefect. _________________

I did too, I finally realized it when I reread a section to understand it better and suddenly I noticed the spelling.......... _________________
