A curiosity: I occasionally click on profiles whose usernames I like,and I noticed for one person that s/he is part of Pottermore since July 2011; I registrated on July 31st,I stand as 'member since August 2011,we all are!; Who that person may be????
As a jinxed,I forgot the username...

Would be cool..

If not sounds specially made for the site then at least the soundtracks in the parts where itwas used in the movie.

I mean hedwig's theme at the beggining of each chapter , you get what i mena, hopefully.

This is the main flaw with the site in my opinion. It would make the whole thing a lot more interesting.

I am wholeheartedly against incorporating any part of the movies into Pottermore. The reason I so looked forward to Pottermore was because it was all about the books finally.

Well... I would see why you saying that about extra scenes which were only in movies and were included in Pottermore. But in my opinion the soundtracks would make it more awesome ... You would actually be more emotional, at dumbledores death and everywhere else where soundtracks were.

Well.. as said it's just my opinion. Everyone with what the likes=) don't say yo are wrong or something.

I concur and I couldn't agree with you more. Infact I hope those non-readers of HP will find themselves reading the series once they get a taster on Pottermore.

I think/hope they'll make a few changes before the site opens up properly - sound would be good along with making it a bit more interactive and also fixing the potions thing.

I got in within the first 10 minutes (took a bit longer due to the non-apperance of the quill on the sony page then waiting to be re-directed back to Pottermore).

I've heard some Day 4 people have got in this week so wands crossed I'm next!

Apparently! Needless to say the potions work much better when you follow the instructions lol :wink:

It still won't let me stir. The spoon just won't budge (though its constantly blocking me from moving things around the screen, they get stuck on it if I try to move them past and I have to jerk them over with my mouse, though I just practiced cure for the boils which takes no stirring and everything went past the spoon smoothly. wtf?). Am I just not understanding how to do it? How do you make it stir?

edit: Ok it actually did need stirring. And it stirred. Seems like it will only let me do that in practice.

edit 2: OMG it actually let me stir an actual potion! And the spoon wasn't in the way. Now just wait, I'll forget to finish brewing the potion and it will be ruined. Oh well. I STIRRED. *dances a jig*

I a lot of friends who have their joined date as July 31. I'm sure mine is the same, as I registered along with them.

Congrats. I'm glad you figured out how to stir! I'm working on a potion right now!

Argh I give up! On the second part of brewing it everything was running slowly EXCEPT the clock. It did let me stir, but very sluggishly. I watched my wand rise pitifully into the air as the seconds ticked away and it failed.
