in the book it said that parvati's sis was in ravenclaw, but she was with her in the griffindor common room in the movie? any one else notice that?

In the movies she is in Gryfendor. Not sure y but it doesn't affect the plot so it doesn't bother me.

I love how they added this completely random character in GoF and then even when all the fans were like, who is Nigel, where's Dennis and Colin... they KEPT Nigel... And found stupid things for him to do throughout the OotP movie. And he even played an important part!!!! Instead of the twins getting banned from Quidditch, they got mad at Umbridge while comforting Nigel. I can't wait to see what antics the filmmakers cook up for him for the next film.

It's imdb, I don't know how it works exactly. I think someone random updates it. So it might not be "official", ya know? I guess I'm just going to have to see the movie again and look closely at the Fred and George scene. *sigh* the things I do for the greater good...

Hmm.. has anyone noticed that Parvati was in PoA (different from the girl who portrayed Parvati in GoF and OOTP?) It was during Professor Lupin's class when they were dealing with boggarts.

I never noticed, but you're right.
Sitara Shah played Parvati in PoA and Shefali Chowdhury played her in GoF.
I also just realized that the girls who played the Patil twins aren't even related!
The girl who played Padma is named Afshan Azad. Why? I'm certain that they could have found identical twins for the part . . . honestly . . .

I noticed. I read a really good article with those two when the were cast. And yes, Padma is wearing Gryffindor robes.

lol, nevermind. Apparantly they couldn't find twins that could act:
Afshan: I remember actually you were quite nervous and I thought: "Oh God, if she's nervous, I should be nervous!" It wasn't just us at the final audition - there were about 12 more girls. But me and Shefali got put back a lot because they were trying to find twins - it was quite weird because there were twins there but Mike was saying that we would rather have two people that could act than twins who couldn't act.
