Is it just me, or did they do an EXCELLENT job at casting Luna? She was perfect for the role! Not only did she look the part, but she her acting was awsome.

Agree? Disagree?

Agree...I remember seeing an interview with the casting people saying that they did an open call and they had some great girls lined up...but they didn't want someone who could act like Luna...They wanted someone who could be Luna...and I saw Ivanna Lynch talking about her audition...where they basically just asked her what her name was and what she thought about the character...and she was called back

I thought she was awesome. She was a great actress. AND it was her first film. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

And, yes, she is quite pretty.

I think shes a better actor than Daniel and he's done more films than her! He was ok when he was younger but now its like.. go to acting class.. I'd say both Emma and Rupert act better than him, and a majority of other students.

Perfect! Absolutely perfect! Her high-pitched voice was very befitting of the character. I don't think they could have picked anyone better! She really had that far-off look, too!

she did a great job, she had the dreamy look down pat, and her acting wasnt forced...for a first film (i guess it was for her) she did great...

I think Evanna was awesome,because I think she wasn´t playing a role, but being just herself! xD I saw her in an interview and she´s really like that...

I must say that the only thing I was pleased with in the movie was the fact that Luna was Luna, the Luna I had picture, love her, couldn't be happier Razz

Totally agreed. The actress cast for Luna was absolutely amazing.

Did anyone know that she made her own radish earrings? They actually had the props made up but they liked hers better, so those were the ones they used!

evanna lynch (100% perfect choice) makes up for the crap casting of cho chang 10 fold

and i really hate the cho chang actress, and the character herself
