In GoF I found in page 417 that Dumbledore was trying to locate a bathroom but instead found another room. Then when he went back it was gone. Now I think this is strange is this the RoR? _________________ HP & LV= DEAD
it is, Dumbledore just hints that he's been there (because he was in desperate need for a bathroom.)
That makes me wonder...can more than one room be at use in the RoR? _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.

Harry, and Hermione...shoulda been!

You mean can two different people go into the RoR at the same time and be in two different rooms?
I don't think so....because:
Spoiler:
in DH, Tonks and Ginny have to come out of the RoR which is being used as a hideout for the DA so that Harry, Ron, and Hermione can go into the RoR as the Room for Hiding things.
yeah i dont think its possible. and when trelawney went in the RoR it was still whatever it was for malfoy correct? _________________

she was trying to hide the bottles but couldn't get in because of malfoy, so I guess my question has been answered, you can only be in one of it's many rooms at a time - which would suck if somebody fell asleep in it! _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.

Unless of course, you needed to be in that particular room. _________________

but Trelawney did need that room. the cabinet was in the room of hidden stuff, trelawney wanted to hide her bottles. I think the reason she couldn't get in is because Malfoy asked it not to let anyone in. _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
that makes sence as well - i thought the reason she wanted to get in was because she had like a wine room.
But how did Harry get in then if Malfoy bewitched it to let him hide there? _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.

True...one of his requirements was that no one be able to catch him in there doing what he was doing...thus Trelawney was chucked from the room. _________________

that still doesn't explain how Harry got in. _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.

Harry never got in when Draco was in there. When Draco wasn't in there the hiding room was get-in-able. Draco required that room + nobody disturbing him at his work. _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
I think in order to get in Harry would have had to know which purpose the RoR was catering to for Draco...but he never knew...he was just like...I need to know what Malfoy is doing...however, in DH
Spoiler:
Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle go into the RoR as the Room for Hiding Things when Harry,Ron, and Hermione are in there, because the already know...
But Harry hears Draco laugh - doesn't he go in and see him as well at that point? _________________ The boy who lived marries the wrong girl.
