He's not brave, and he's definately not loyal. Apart from Voldemort, he never seems to have shown any concern for anyone other than himself. How the hell did he end up in Gryffidor?

You know, i think he was a good person at one time. But then he became a monstrous clone that wanted power and was a coward who couldn't get it himself. So he did all he could to obtain the tiniest bit. The hat HAS made us wonder. Why wasn't Hermione in Ravenclaw? She is the most brilliant in all of Hogwarts...Why did it suggest Harry be in Slytherin? Harry is a VERY noble and good person. Why did it immediatly put Ron in Gryffindor? Just because of one's blood, it doesn't mean they are all alike. But i do suppose that in the Weasley's case, almost all of them are good. BESIDES THAT PRAT PERCY!!!

I do still wonder. But Jo will probably explain this, as well as the other mysteries. Unfortunetly, we may be lost forever in the last little questions.

remember harry told the hat he wanted gryfindor. same must apply for everyone else. peter cowared and lookeed for strong freinds to hide behind. he might have known them from before hogwarts and wanted to be with his freinds like harry and ron. also he herd about slytherins reputation and he fits it. he is sly and looks out for himself. so he told the hat no.

well lets think...he couldnt be in Ravenclaw because in the pensive when they were taking their owls it always showed him nervous, and he got soem answers wrong....he cant be hufflepuff because he aint loyal or trustworthy...definaltey not slytherin becaus ehe isnt power hungry or ambitious...hes actually a wimp...but it did take bravery to do the things he did...yes it took evil bravery...like how he ratted out his best friends...or when he cut off his own arm to revive his master...i mean all those things took bravery...yes they were evil bravery but nevertheless it was bravery and therefore he was in Gryffindor.

You cant choose what house you get sorted into. here is my proof why
Book 1, chapter 7, page 117, "The Sorting Hat"
"Oh you may not think im pretty,
But dont judge on what you see,
Ill eat myslef if you can find,
a smarter hat than me.
you can keep your bowlers black,
your top hats sleek and tall,
for im the hogwarts sorting hat
and i can cap them all
theres nothing hidden in your head
the sorting hat cant see,
so try me on and i will tell you
where you ought to be
so you see? that chooses for you...if the hat thinks it best for you to go into Gryyfindor then your going to gryffindor...no questions asked

Harry might have chose because he was stuck between 2 houses....maybe when the hat cant choose between 2 houses, then you are allowed to choose....the hat coudlnt choose over Gryffindor or Slytherin so the choice went to Harry, who chose Gryffindor

| yes, i have been thinking of that. he is a slytherin. there's nothing brave about him. but he alwasy sticks around to those in power. unless he was a slytherin who kissed the asses of gryffindors. |

he sounds more like a slytherin to me.... although he would have been beaten up something sever by the other slytherins for being around gryffindors....
unless he's gonna have the guts to do something in deathly hallows....
