She's probably not going to write. She probably has enough money to support her whole lifetime :/.

Even so, it wouldn't hurt to let someone else take control of the HP universe. C'mon, pass the license to a seasoned writer/HP fan if you're not going to continue writing... seriously.

As for the next book, if JKR's going to continue writing for pleasure, it wouldn't be about HP. There's already enough info about Harry; plus, all his dilemmas are already resolved. The next book might venture into some other area in the HP universe. I choose other.

I'd like to have seen a prequel of Snape but suppose most of it got explained in the DH Crying or Very sad

I think that if J.K. Rowling wrote another book, she would write about Harry's and Ginny's kids because if she wrote about the things that happened between the nineteen years why didnt she write them before she wrote that part with the King Cross Station 19 years later? Also it couldn't be Hermione and Ron's children because they arent as famous as Harry and J.K.R. has earned alot of money from Harry, not Ron or Hermione. Personally, I wouldn't want to read about Harry's kids. Same Hogwarts... same concept *yawn*. She would be wasting her brilliance by making the same HP series again under a different name :/.

I personally don't think she's going to write another hp book but if she would I guess it you be about the 19 years in btw the chapter and the epilogue

when she says she isnt going to write another hp book, she is serious. though it doesnt mean shes done with that universe, she could easily start another character from the past or future. like say she did the marauders, the book title could be the marauders and the blankity blank blank. or if it was on the founders it could be something like the four founders. none of them would nothing to do with harry, just the universe. i think if she did another book in hp universe i would hope she wouldnt write another story that centered around hogwarts. thats harrys place. she could venture to writing about an ancient family in the 1800's living in godrics hollow and a mystery that is centered around the town.

i think when she says she is done with harry potter, i think she is truly done with harry potter. but as a writer i dont think she is done. jk likes to write, she isnt going to stop cuz she has a mountain of money. however i think she will not make a huge series like hp bc of the stress, more likely they will be singles. also i think her next book, not the potterpedia that will be next, but the following will probably be something in this world. then once she has had a break she will go back to writing in the hp universe. i mean i have read how much she enjoyed writing it. plus, there is so much she could with this universe that she can tap into that she can make so many original stories in that universe that have nothing to do with harry. just magic.

I don't think there will be any more books but I'd like to see Albus Severus, Rose and Scorpius at Hogwarts.
