What will they cut out?And who are they gonna get in for child snape,petunia,lily and older harry,ginny,ron,herm and the kids?
And what about the video game!Can they make much of a video game with this?I mean,in the other ones,they can usually fill that in with classes at school,but they arent at hogwarts this year.hmmmmmm...

I'm sure they can cut out half of those "essential" elements and get it down to a bit over two hours.
Or, as I have noted, you could break it up into two sections, parts 1-6, and parts 7-16, making two movies... which I think they ought to have done with the fifth book as well.

I doubt they'll do that, cut the book into two movies. They wanted to do that with GoF and the idea got axed...
I doubt they'll need 30 minutes for the wedding scene. I mean, I wish they would take that much time in it... but you figure they'll cut out Viktor Krum... and the twins with the veela... and Auntie Murial... and they won't do the whole ceremony... they can get it down to at least 15 minutes... I don't know. I'm honestly never pessamistic, and although I've liked most of the other movies.... I just can't help to be pessimistic about the scenes they might cut out. I think it's because I'm tired of defending HP to my friends who, if I'm lucky, sometimes will watch the movies. _________________

Yeah, if he was nude, they'd be lucky to get an R rating... full frontal male nudity usually gets an NC 17 rating. They could use camera trickery to just not show his "thingy." I have a feeling that's probably the best bet. _________________

How bout they just put robes on him so they don't have to make the movie like R or what ever rating are used over in Europe although I think there the same. Oh and by the way were on forums. && How much of the book are they going to cut out? It's always depressing to find a part you really liked not shown in the movie...
Oh, I'm sure they'll cut so much our heads will be spinning. I'm trying to stay positive, but so far I'm positive that they'll just cut out so much. And we'll all gather here and complain to no end. _________________

i love this forum! i don't think they will try to make it tame, but i hope they make it long to fit most everything and make it work. i will gladly sit through 3 hours. i love harry potter! and the trio are set to return, so we can breathe easier.
