^^sirius wasnt in this book...
my fav. is Harry in this book he was so funny and not all crabby. Fred and George are hillarious in this one. Rereading it was a lot of fun especially compared to the movie

LOL my favourite part, (i dont think its in the movie) when harry was at quittitch game and Snape was the referee, Malfoy poked Ron and they started arguing, Neveille came inn andand malfoys like. "Longbottom, if your brain was the size of gold, you'd be poorer than weasley!" Malfoys so meaan, but makes me laugh at the same time.
ANd somethin else that made me laugh was in the beginning when they were leaving on the trian, Ginny was crying and One of the weasley twins was like "Dont worry ginny! We'll bring you back a Hogwarts toilet seat!" LOL  |

I love rons humour in this film
Its a classic
But also i feel sorry for Hermione, she goes through quite a time in this film.
at least it all works out in the end though yeah!!
Dracos face when gryffindor win the house cup is [what i say] a kodak moment!

I really liked when harry just found out he was a wizard and went to Diagon Alley, then Hogwarts. Because since he is new to it all, she really describes the magic so it seems real.

yes, in this first book, jkr definatly describes the magic so incredibly.
but awh, i absoulutely loved that part during harry's first broom-riding class. and harry took off (when he wasnt suposed to) trying to save neville's glass ball thing. (forgot what it was called) he thought he was going to get in big trouble but prof. mcgonagall just appointed him seeker. that was so awesome!
but i loved neville in this book! he was so cute ! xD

*glee* I know! Then it gets so dark hes not really the same. I lvoe the entire series, but I would recomend SS iff you just want a upbeat HP.

| There's so many good parts, but one part that always makes me laugh is the quidditch game between Slytherin and Gryffindor. Lee Jordan's commentary was hilarious in this book during the quidditch game. |

Yeah, with McGonagall going "JORDAN!" I like Luna's commentary better.
Oh and my other favorite part is whenever in the 6th book they are following teenage Voldy.

OMG at the very beggining when vernon and petunia were watching the news and they were talking about the owls flying around during the day and shooting stars all over town the news anchor says something along the lines of "and bird watchers cant figure out why birds have changed their sleeping pattern" then it says something like he allowed himeself to grin or he couldnt refrain from grinning. that gives us the notion that he knows something that hes not saying rightt?? then the weather man says "thanks ted" TED could this possible mean ted tonks? nymphadora's dad? has this problem already been resolved and i just missed itt? because that would explain why he was grinning because he knew that Voldemort was finally gone and he was happy and he knew that they wern't really shooting stars and why all the owls were flying around during the dayy.and if this is true J.K. rowling probably though that nobody would catch on because when they finally introduce Nymphadora tonks (the order of the phoenix) so much more had happened in between those two books that we wouldnt be thinking about it, just like a little fun thing to throw in? I felt so smart when this little connection finally clicked in my head..heres my other notion...IT MEANS ALSOULUTLY NOTHING! just my luck.
