When I saw this 5th movie I started praying for the good 7th movie....
Maybe the parts with Rita's book should be left out.....

i dont think that it should be, because thats what creates doubts of harry's opinion of dumbledore. they most likely will tho.

they alter more things than what they cut

I don't think they should take anything out of the movie. I don't care how long it is as long as they make it like it's supposed to be.

but then dobby wont have his death scene! though they are cruel to dobby in the movies...oh and how else are they going to know the cup is in bella's vault?

they can cut the camping reaaaalllly short, no loss there. I don't want the wedding to go...but it doesn't add all that much and in a book where so much is important, this is leaveoutable.

I want the wedding to stay put. I liked the interaction between Ron and Hermione.

Most of the camping should be cut short though, except for the fight between Harry and Ron.

i think that they really shld do the book 7 justice. nearly every scene is relevant! i agree the camping scenes can b cut short, mayb not cut out completly, but u kno , do wat they did wiv umbridges scenes in the 5th book, do snap shots of whats happening over time. but all the other scenes r very relevant, other wise u wont hav a clue wats happening! i dnt think neones gonna care if its over 3hrs long, if it does the book justice then wats the problem! it wont make much difference to the actors, cos they take ages to film them films neway, so a few hours lnger wont make a difference really! no one gives a dam how many special effects they put in the films, ok obviously put sum in to make it realistic, but they dnt need to spend months on end making it luk shite! cos usually they cut loads out of the books to make way for special effects, they better not do that in the 6th n 7th!!! other wise, as ive sed to me mum, if they do that, then im writing to the director/producer personally and complaining! lol i did feel like doin that wen the 5th one came out, i wanted em to film it again hehe but that wld b cruel lol

I'm not sure what they'll cut because they obviously cannot keep everything. But I feel it's all important! So, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I agree with what you guys are saying.. However, after seeing all the other movies countless numbers of times, here is what I believe will be taken out..

1. Camping scenes definitely a little bit shorter
2. Sadly enough, I think Dumbledore's back story might be shortened
3. The scene in the Pub right after they escape the wedding
4. Pretty sure Krum will be taken out (though I hope not)
5. Dean's part will be shortened. He has always been downplayed, why add him now. (very sad).
6. They won't spend as much time at Bill and Fleur's.

Those are just some of my thoughts. Although I agree, Peter Jackson would be PERFECT to direct it. I hope he does!

I agree. As much as I love the camping storyline I know they're going to shorten it, they have to.

I agree with everything on that list, except they're going to cut so much more than just that.

I agree with that list as well.

1. I think that they will just show them putting up the tent, then taking it down right away multiple times to show that they camped out for a long time. They could take out 2 months of traveling in less than a minute.
2. I unfortunately agree. As much as I'd like it in there, the movie guys probably won't see it as that important.
3. There might not even be a wedding, but they'll definitely cut out the bar fight. They'll probably apparate straight to camp.
4. This again depends if they even have a wedding. But he was barely in the book, so they'll most likely take it out in the movie.
5. Who was Dean in the other 5 movies anyway? I don't remember which one he was or if he was even in them.
6. This again depends on whether they cast Bill in the 6th and 7th films. Hopefully they will though. I wouldn't like it (and I'm sure others would as well) if Bill wasn't there.

I also think that they'll take out some of Snape's memories. They'll probably only put in the crucial ones, such as Dumbledore telling Snape to kill him and that Harry is the last Horcrux.

Godric's Hollow will probably be there, but I don't think they will be attacked. They'll probably just go to visit and not go to Bathilda's house. Harry's wand will either be broken doing something else or won't be broken at all.

Since Dobby will probably not be in the movie, I don't think that they will be captured and brought to the Malfoy's house. Harry will just overpower Malfoy at the final battle in Hogwarts if they decide that Harry has to overpower him in some way.

There are more, but I don't want to make myself saddened by what they might cut out.

I agree, I think that's how they'll do it, too. And it will look really good.

To tell the whole story would mean a lot of dialogue. So yeah, I think it'll be shortened as well. I think it will be in there. They did introduce Aberforth in OotP movie, so I definiely think he will be in it, but I don't think to a large extent.

3. There might not even be a wedding, but they'll definitely cut out the bar fight. They'll probably apparate straight to camp.
I agree, it'll be cut and they'll apparate straight to the bar.

His name is Alfie Enoch. He's been in all 5 of them so far.
Here is a video of a deleted scene from PoA. Figures that this is his only real line in all five movies and it was cut... Oh, and he has the line "Auror?" in GoF. One word. Poor kid. Anyway, here's the vid...
He's the one on the left that says "What do you expect..."

I don't know. He wasn't in GoF or OotP. If they haven't introduced him by now, then I don't think they will.

I also think that they'll take out some of Snape's memories. They'll probably only put in the crucial ones, such as Dumbledore telling Snape to kill him and that Harry is the last Horcrux.
Oh yeah, kiss all the good ones good-bye. They didn't even have Lily in Snape's Worst Memory scene in the OotP movie. I think they'll cut out that whole subplot.

Godric's Hollow will probably be there, but I don't think they will be attacked. They'll probably just go to visit and not go to Bathilda's house. Harry's wand will either be broken doing something else or won't be broken at all.
I think they'll go there, but it'll be really short somehow.

Since Dobby will probably not be in the movie, I don't think that they will be captured and brought to the Malfoy's house. Harry will just overpower Malfoy at the final battle in Hogwarts if they decide that Harry has to overpower him in some way.
Yeah, no Dobby. He hasn't been in the last two movies. People who only go to see the movies probably won't even remember him by then.

There are more, but I don't want to make myself saddened by what they might cut out.
Oh, I've already come to terms with the fact that all my favorite scenes will be cut.

I actually am. It was the first time I read the book and thought to myself, "Yeah. This probably won't make the movie," to the parts where I thought the movie guys might take out. It kind of took some joy as I read the final book. (I did it to Half-Blood Prince as well.)

This is tied for my favorite book. I really don't want them to mess it up.

I kept doing that, too. As I was reading I kept thinking things like, "Oh how cute! He put his arm around her! They're going to cut that." and "That's great! Too bad it won't be in the movie."

I agree it's so annoying and the movies would be ten times better if they just put some real fans in charge!

however, let's be happy we have the books. the movies, we already know wont come out exactly how we want them. But Jo is on our side, we can at least imagine it.
