I've voted the simpsons because they're sort of funny and we don't have Family Guy in Holland... (so I've got no idea what it is Very Happy)

I currently watch more Family Guy, but feel like I owed it to The Simpsons to vote for them.

I prefer The Simpsons over Family Guy. Family Guy is good show but The Simpsons is just much better.

I don’t know why Gil hasn’t been seen in the most recent episodes but Lionel Hutz is no longer in the show because the actor who voiced him (Phil Hartman) was murdered.

Yeah, I know. That is sad though, that phil hartman was murdered, I read that he was a really nice man. Yeah, I know Gil hasnt been on real recent either, but I did hear a Rumor that Gil will be on an upcoming episode called Kill Gil Parts one and two. Have you any of you seen that episode where homer gets hair and he gets his own secretary?

Neither. I find both of those shows so stupid. I have much better things to do with my time.

I can't believe I'm the first to point out Family Guy's blatant ripping off of the Simpsons.

Peter=Homer (Try to argue this. You can't. You just...can't.)
Lois=Marge (Again, blindingly obvious)

They fooled with some of the characters a bit but they're still astoundingly alike. Therefore the Simpsons get my vote for classical-ness and also originality.

Yay? ONE difference? Let's look at the similarities (all of which are off the top of my head)

Overweight
Drunk
Sucky job
Buffoons

Among others. Hell, they even talk the same.

oh. good one. I have mada a thread about it. well,
Peter is alot fatter than homer
Peters kids (besides the baby) are generally older
Homer has no hair
homer is Yellow
The mayor of Quahog is cooler.
There is no Barney
Homers Dog doesnt talk
But generally the simpsons are better.
