First off, if this has been posted before, I apologize. I'm not trying to look like the stereotypical newbie.

Anyway, I was really disappointed with the film. Yeah, I know. I hear this from everybody. If everything from the book is put into the film, it will be 5 hours long. I understand that. But why did they have to take things out that's relative to the plot in OOTP? I mean, why leave stuff out like Skeeter's sub plot, Sirius, and Fudge and Dumbledore fighting over the return of Voldemort? And the one scene they left out that really bugged me was Harry giving his winnings to the twins. Anyway, just my 2 cents. If this has been posted before, sorry. I'm not trying to look like the stereo typical newbie.

Well, I didn't hate the movie, but I do agree some about what you said about leaving out the scenes towards the end.

I was really looking forward to the Sirius/Fudge/Dumbledore fight near the end, and although I understand that scene was not vitally important to the plot, I think it was important enough. I also think, if they plan to have Fred and George make their Joke Shop in the next few films (which they should!), how will they explain where the twins got their money? They didn't include the scene where Harry gives his winnings to them, so that will be pretty difficult.

One other thing that bugs me about the Potter films is how they left Peeves out of all of them. Confused Just my opinion, though.

I actually quite liked the movie, bt it really stinks that they left out S.P.E.W. (or was that in the fifth book?). They also missed Dobby and Winky. Why did they show Neville giving Harry the gillyweed? Dobby was the one who really did it in the book. :/

I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed that they left out so many details like AngelicEnigma said.

well, i didn't quite HATE the movie...but i do believe it def could've been better. They left out too much stuff and some of it was just horrible. tHye left out things that're relevant to the 5th, 6th, and possibly the 7th book.

I didn't hate this one, but they're getting worse and worse with every new movie... I wonder what they'll do to film 5... (The probably leave out all the scenes and make one very long scene about the end-battle between Harry and Voldy...). Anyway, Harry is staying the same, Ron's acting is getting better, Draco's is just great and Hermione is getting more hysterically with every film... (I liked her in film one and two, but in three and four she's just...)

*runs away for all the Hermione fans...*

MAN, I agree with you... The movie did suck. I really think they could do better... I did like the movies a lot more when Chris Columbus was making them... I will give the goblet of fire a chance though Sad

yeah there were too many things left out of the movie and the opening would leave people who haven't read the book confused. I really couldn't care for Peeves as he wasn't anything special to me in the books. The mermen in the second task should've been redone, they looked horrible, I wanted SPEW in, but it didn't hurt me that bad, as for the plot, they showed who casted Vold's sign in the very begginning, now that won't leave any surprises in the future. They also left out Ludo Bagman, who was great, and Percy filling in for mr... I forgot his name but he was an important part to the film. They didn't make Ritas as annoying as they should've and she left out as he was supposed to be murdered right outside the forest when Harry was talking to the pro quidditch player. of the ending. Too bad so sad.

I liked this moive the best of all, but that really isn't saying much. I was disappointed in all the movies; yet that would be expected when everything from the books can't be in the movies.

Favorite Movies:
1. Movie 4
2. Movie 3
3. Movie 1
4. Movie 2

But why do they add in little stupid kiddy stuff to it for example in Prisoner of Azkaban they added that talking shrunken head and the invisible snow fight. In 4 they left out the whole first 6 chapters. Really that's ridiculous how would someone who hasn't read the books know what's going on. they don't exploit the cruelty of Harry's family either. I didn't minbd SPEW being left out, it's really not that important but lo and behold they left out many things that had to do with the plot and not to mention they showed Mr. Crouch's son from the begginning.

This movie was too rushed. They left too much out, which really angered me. I mean, where the hell was the World Cup? Yes yes, it showed them going to the World Cup, showed those two teams coming out and doing their fancy air tricks, and then... suddenly it's OVER!? Half the reason I went to see this movie was for at least some Quidditch playing! I was dissapointed beyond words at this. At least the TriWizard cup was pretty...

I think we can plainly agree that the movie was bad. Titanic had to be seperated into 2 parts, why couldn't HP? Mostly, the triwizard tournament, the ending(duhhhhhhh), and the vey beginning were all that was in it. I'm glad Cho was in it, and I was happy that Draco was turned into a ferret, but they should have showed the Cup, Winkey & Dobby, and they should have shown the S.P.E.W. I would give this movie a 4 out of 10 on this one.
