There were numeros numerous things that were either left out or changed in the movie which a reader of the series I dislike. THe scene when they were flying through London was like 5mins long they could've fit many more specific things instead of a pointless broom ride. There were many other pointless scenes that they could've replaced or just cut out....but I guess as a movie thgey have to entertain but still,....

Yeah I didn't like how they flew around so close to muggles when you're not suppose to be that close to muggles and do that kinda stuff near them? or the fact that they took off in plain sight from Privet Drive, example, Mrs. Figg wwtching them take off. Or that Moody bangs his stick three times and Grimmauld Place just pops out of numbers 11 and 13? If some Death Eater just happen to drop something three times out front of there, they would be in a hell of mess, now, wouldn't they?

Yeah, so much for the code of secrecy. That flew out the window.

I agree. but, maybe there was some type of lock or something on the house that made it only open to OotP members?

Yeah, why cut out great scenes and put in flying a broomstick for 5 minutes instead?

As for Grimmauld place,i imagines it to be detached shabby houses, and then when Sirius` house appears, they all get pushed sideways to make room for the house, not like they made it in the movie. Sad

Excatly. I bet that is what was going through the directors mind when he made the movie.

Thats exactly what me and my sister thought...I thought it would be 2 houses and then they were pushed aside not a apartment building

Oh yeah, but you know WB, can't spend more money than they need too on special effects and CG, even though it's going right back into their pockets 10-fold after box office sales. X(

i think they shouldve taken 2 seconds to show harry the paper from dumbledore telling him about #12 grimmauld place because he is the secret keeper and harry wouldnt've been able to get in any other way

the fact that dumbledore is the secret keeper for grimmauld place becomes very important, especially in the last book, but that never gets explained in the movie, which is frustrating

ROTFLMAO sorry but this just made me laugh.

How unfortunate for the OOtP if a Death Eater was at that location and was clumsy enough to drop something three times. =p

I agree. They skipped out on all the important stuff and filled it in with pointless things. For instance, they never explained that Umbridge was the one who sent the Dementors. And I was mad about the Pensieve scene; they completely left out Lily, which basically ruined the whole point of it Confused

I hated how they completely changed how the dementors look. and the fact that they pick harry up by the neck. it just didnt fit right, i think the ones in PoA were perfect and they shouldve stuck with that. they didnt even look very scary, and how the cloaks were clinging to them so that they almost looked transparent. but i guess since its a new director, he had a different vision of how the dementors should look.

I completely agree. I hated how the new dementors looked! They looked silly, like floating skeletons from a cheesy amusement park haunted house. yates had a brilliant idea, he explained it all on the dvd extras. I don't know what they were thinking for this film.

I didn't like how Umbridge blew up the wall to get into the RoR. The whole point of the room is that she had no way of getting in there...as per the magic of the room.

yes that annoyed me so much. it was just so stupid. she shouldnt have been able to get in unless she knew how to do it the magical way.

and it was really stupid how neville found the RoR and not dobby. and also the way he found it. i mean crabbe and goyle shove him or something and then wha-la; the RoR materializes out of the wall

it just irks me

i can see where laxaholic is coming from. there was soo many parts from the book not put in the movie that it seems really dumb that they would put a 3 minute scene of them flying through london when instead they could have added more important key plots from the book.

but i guess it was supposed to spice up the movie a bit, and i can understand that

I liked the flying scene too, but when you gotta get the film down below 2:15 and you can cut either that or say... the duel between Sirius and Bellatrix or actual character development, you gotta cut the flying.

i enjoy the flying scene to the headquater!!!i mean at the beginning of the film(not saving Sirius's flight) and the song 'Flight of the Order of the Phoenix' is BRILLANT! I love the song!!!!!!Have you guys ever heard it?

and it didn't talk much about Cho and Harry(after the kiss and everyone thought that Cho betrayed the DA)
