...so if LV knows nothing of love (and i agree) then how would we describe his relationship w/ a certain someone?
Spoiler:
in DH in the 'forest again', bellatrix approaches voldy and asks 'with the voice of a lover' if he's ok...now i realize she's his 'most faithful', but i can't deny feeling a bit repulsed by this bit...what did you guys think?
I think Bellatrix's love is a bit unrequited. Meaning she obviously has some weird master/servant thing going on for Voldie, but I don't think that he's very interested in her as anything more than a faithful follower. For instance if he was being attacked by an actromantula, he'd grab her and use her as a human shield. And as a faithful follower not only would he expect her to like it, but she would do it willingly. I dunno, maybe she has a thing for badboys. Maybe she hopes that inside, beneath his rough exterior lies a soft, warm, cushy fella she can take home to mommy-dearest. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
yeah I agree. He doesn't return her feelings. She hero worships him and he only thinks of her as a valuable ally. _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
....right...i agree especially w/ the unrequited bit, BUT i would've thought her place as his servant would've been firmly cemented prior...this made my eyebrows wriggle a bit!
as bellatrix died voldemort did freak out! now it could have been because of the fact that she was really loyal, or was there something else going on?
It was because she was loyal. The good guys killed or stunned most of his followers by this point and then they went and killed his most faithful follower of all. He was ticked off. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
new theory, well maybe other than the whole loveless childhood, he sortof...liked bella in school or after or something? and then she rejected him? maybe she was like oh crap...big mistake. anyway, i myslef am not fully believing this theory, but you never kno... _________________

maybe voldemort sort of had some feelings for her but rejected those feelings and instead continued being loveless and killing people... but definitely bella had feelings for him... i dont even think she cared when rodolphus was wounded... she'd probably thing rodolphus should be proud of having them in the service of the Dark Lord. _________________

I woudln't go as far to say he loved her, the whole point of voldy was that he didn't know love... however, i would say that if he was to ever love someone, bellatrix would be the closest to it.
IDK, I still want to believe that Moaning Myrtle was mucho prettier and that her and Voldemort had a thing back in the day, but then he found out she was muggle born and set the basilisk on her... _________________ If you like pinnacolatas and going out in the rain...
lol.. maybe he was peeping on her while she was in the bathroom... then she muttered something like "olive hornby is teasing me because im a mudblood..." then he found out, so set the basilisk on her...
well no he probably didnt love bella anyway, but sort of had some feelings... thats why he was so devastated when mrs weasley killed her. _________________

i think that voldemort was just enraged when bella died because he realized that all of his death eaters truly were weak and couldnt serve him properly _________________
I dont think he loved her at all. She was just his most faithful servent and he hated that she died becasue who was gonna back him up?? And if they were lovers it was just sex probably . _________________

Of course Voldie didn't love her, as you said earlier, he cant love.
But he could have been infatuated with her. _________________
