Im sorry if this topic has already been brought up..
But i think Dobey's death is saddest part in the book..
i really like him, and i dont know why they stop showing him on the movies, he played a lot of important parts.. Sigh Crying

I actually think it will work in the movies, because of his absense, people who never read the books will think if him as some 'Come and Go' character, then when he makes a heroic appearance at the manor, people will shout out in surprise and say "Alright, Dobby!" but then be dissapointed when he dies. It also works in the books because they adapt a special friendship (Harry and Dobby), it was pretty sad though

I think i cried more for Dobby then i did for Fred ( I think its because Dobby is so innocent and loyal) while Fred in an odd way died happy because he was at Percy for telling a joke. Sad

I was really sad, I think I may even have shed a tear for this little elf. The funeral was simple but powerful...

Dobby.. it was indeed the saddest part in the book. I merely read over everyone else's death except Dobby's. I had to re-read it to believe it.

Dobby dying was one of the saddest parts of the book. I had to re-read the scene to accept it that he was dead. In some ways it was much more grief ridden than the death of Fred. Dobby was an innocent and loyal house elf and his funeral whilst simple was so emotionally powerful, that you could actually feel for Harry.

Another reason why I was happy that Bellatrix died....

I teared up at Dobbys death. I believe this scene will be in the movie too. In the trailer, it shows Bella tossing her dagger.

I most definitely cried when Dobby died. It was one of the saddest parts of the last book!
