I think the WWF was the best. Back when it first started where they had good wrestlers and interesting story lines. Not like now where McMahon dies in a limo explosion then comes back because Benoit died and turns out he went psycho and killed his family.
Back when Andre and Hogan were around. Those were the good old days. _________________ Music-Junkies.net - Music Discussion - 4,600+ Posts!

+1 I started watching WWF in 1984 when Hulk beat Iron Sheik for the WWF Championship then continued to watch it until a few years ago when The Rock left, it went completely down hill after that IMO, he cuts the best promo, had the best put down's and his rivaly with Stone Cold was awesome, for the record I don't follow it anymore completely pointless but if people wanted to talk about the old days then I'll continue to post on here _________________

Go Cena!! I think todays generation loves him, both as a wrestler, and as a rolemodel. _________________

I hated wrestling when I was little but now I like it. My faves are John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple HHH & Batista. _________________

Oooh, he's the hot one, right? He's sort-of sweet, but a lot of my guy friends say that he isn't all that great or something like that.
And... that's about the extent of my wrestling knowledge. I can identify the hot one and that's it. _________________

"ain't no hot?" Nice grammer and double negative because that means he is, lol.
What do you guys think about the soap opera-like aspects of wrestling? Do you like it or do you feel that wrestling would be better off without all the drama? _________________

Oh dear...I'm a total freak. what was I thinking?
Anyways I think they should leave what it is. To me I would like to categorize wrestling into tv show rather than a professional sport, especially when I look at the word "entertainment". _________________

I'm with you! When I started watching it, I became obssesed -at the point of buying stamp books. But now, I still watch it... sometimes.
Anyway, my faves were John Cena, the Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and Rey Mysterio.
I hated the Boogeyman! He was nasty! Well, that's because I HATE worms... but still...
I liked to watch Carlito Caribbean Cool, because he's from Puerto Rico (same here), and he was a pretty good wrestler.
*So, can anyone update me a bit? Who's champion right now? Who's bad and who's good at the moment? Or who are the rivalries...?
UPDATE! _________________ Don't let the bedbugs bite.

Not to mention that any of the Wrestlers could take out the Jonas Brothers, with ridiculess ease, for that matter.
They even have Papa Roach do some of their theme songs, like To Be Loved, for instance. _________________

Here is a WWE update by Xander:
As announced by Raw special guest host The Million Dollar Man, his son, Ted DiBiase, & Cody Rhodes will get another golden opportunity at Night of Champions as they were scheduled to face Edge & Chris Jericho for the Unified Tag Team Titles. But with the injury The Rated-R Superstar suffered to his Achilles tendon, this match and the champions' reign appeared in jeopardy.
That was, until Jericho unveiled his plans.
With Edge out for months, the arrogant Jericho informed the WWE Universe that he was always wary of his "injury-prone" partner and had a clause written into his contract allowing him to choose any partner he wishes as a replacement should Edge get hurt. Jericho promised to reveal his new tag team partner before the title match at Night of Champions and not a moment sooner, leaving his opponents little time to shift tactics.
The bad blood between the Jericho and Rhodes & DiBiase began when the two younger Legacy members earned a championship bout for The Bash against then-champions Carlito & Primo. Thanks to SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long feeling the pressure, however, he made a last minute change on pay-per-view – the addition of Edge & Jericho into the match.
Unfortunately, this new development ended up working against DiBiase & Rhodes as The Rated-R Superstar, always looking for opportunities to capitalize on, made a blind tag on Rhodes and caught an unaware Carlito off-guard with a vicious spear and the title-seizing pin.
Now that The Legacy – former World Tag Team Champions – has another opportunity to add more gold to Rhodes & DiBiase’s résumés, will they be able to defeat the team of Jericho and his selected partner, with the entire WWE roster at his disposal? The only way to find out is to watch Night of Champions, available only on pay-per-view. _________________

Now I get it.
Jericho's unidentified partner was the Big Show, right? Haha. He's an --hole! I'm sorry, but that's so true.
Anyway, thanks for the update... _________________ Don't let the bedbugs bite.

WWE update time!
WWE Hall Of Famer SGT. Slaughter Host Next Monday Night RAW:
Raw Superstars will be at attention next Monday when WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter assumes the role of guest host.
Slaughter's H.O.F. page.

WWE update!
WWE SmackDown!
The Darkness Returns
At SummerSlam, it all happened as it did before. A chilling cold descended upon the squared circle. The shocking sound of a gong echoed through the STAPLES Center as the forces of nature suddenly threw a mystical blanket of darkness upon the WWE Universe. And with one shocking chokeslam heard 'round the world, Undertaker rose again. (Photos)
The Phenom has vanished numerous times from the eyes of WWE. And though many things have changed, one thing is certain: Both his most frightening disappearances and legendary returns have incorporated an array of dangerous specialty matches. What could the unrelenting ritual of Undertaker's historic wrath mean to the reign of the new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk as they prepare to face off in a championship Submission Match at WWE Breaking Point?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for not being active lately here in the HP official WWE Discussion Thread. Here are some updates and news.
WWE News!
I have learned that Vince McMahon has made the decision to drop Finlay from the active WWE roster. Although he is still listed on the official Friday Night SmackDown roster page, he has been removed from WWE's depth chart as an active performer. The reasoning behind this is because Finlay is not scheduled to wrestle any longer. Furthermore, McMahon felt that at 52 years old, Finlay is too old to continue competing. Finlay will still remain with WWE as an agent, so he is not being released.
-------------------------------------------------------
WWE News!
I have learned via The Wrestling Observer that WWE had previously determined the winner of the inaugural season of WWE NXT would be Daniel Bryan, but seeing as Bryan has been eliminated from the competition, this has obviously been tossed out and a new winner will be named.
The original plan as of several weeks ago was that after Bryan won the NXT competition, he would be moved to RAW and possibly face The Miz for the United States Championship on the first pay-per-view event following the show.
Word coming out of this past week's Monday Night RAW is that the plan now is to have Bryan move to RAW under his real name, Bryan Danielson, and team with a RAW star to face Miz and Chris Jericho. Management would also possibly have Miz/Danielson for the United States Championship, which would more than likely have a title change.
This information has not been officially confirmed as of yet, but we will continue to keep you updated as we learn more.
