Nope, I thought it was good. I really didn't need to read about how and who killed Lupin and Tonks (I just hope they died together, like realizing they were dying together and holding hands rather than watching eachother die), or how Fred died. I was glad in the last few moments before Voldemort died that Harry explained to everyone about Snape, so that he was publicly praised; everyone probably felt kinda bad about treating him like crap after, but he knew what he was asking for in the job. Ah well...I thought it was done well. Action scenes in movies are awesome, but in books they can get a teensy bit tiring. I'm sure they'll show more in the movie. _________________ You can't deny it...Severus is Sexy.
I dunno, it's not like he was the best wizard in the building...he could've died however many ways. _________________ You can't deny it...Severus is Sexy.
I think the battle scene should be the way it is in the book. They have to show harry finding the Ravenclaw horcrucs and they have to show Goyle Dieing from the friend fyre. I think J.K. made the scene where Voldemord dies to weak. She needs an intense duel for the last movie or it will be boring. I mean really. Ya so the Great Harry Potter Killed Voldemort with Expelliarmus. Good thing he's such a great wizard.
P.S. Sorry bout the spelling mistakes. _________________

Oh, you know they're going to dramatize that duel in the movie. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate ~ Bob Dylan Team Cucumber, FTW!
I thought the final battle versus Voldemort and Harry was fine because Harry was never that great at magic and really couldn't put up an epic battle with one of the greatest wizards..But in the movie they'll probably make it all epic so people think Harry is a beast
deff is to short i mean harry isnt a one spell retard im sure he could have pulled something out of his arse he usually does. _________________ forever the greatest wizard of all time
There isn't too much description about the batttle during the story because Harry's main goal is to find and destroy the Horcrux in the room of requirment. The book gives you enough information for you to imagine what is taking place during the fighting while focusing on the real task at hand. I think that not only these scenes but this whole book in general is going to make a great movie as long as they make sure to stick to the plot and not only the action.
i'm scared they'll mess up the final movie, and if they do then i think they would mess it up by paying too much attention to the action...but realistically, if they can make lord of the rings as good as they did [all errors accounted for, obviously] then i think they should be able to make HBP and DH well. _________________

I thought that Fred's death was a little confusing, personally. I had to read that over and over to understand that it wasn't me who missed anything, but that she didn't explain it more. I just think that there was so much going on that it would have been confusing to write about everything.
The battle at the end had me all excited ready to see somthing cool and then.....one spell......voldemorts dead!!! BOOOOORING!!! So yeah they gotta come up with something cooler for the movie. Even if they do waste the move there's obviously gonna be a remake of the harry Potter movies in about 40 years from now.
I thought it was cool exept the whole thing was so fast and it ended to unrealisticly. Voldemort shouldve thrown a few killing cursses and Harry a few jinxes then Harry couldve finally been brave enough Mentaly to throw a killing cure at voldemort and kill him. It wouldve been more exiting that way. And just like it said the wand really wasnt powerful against its true holder (Harry) _________________ Name: Ethan Ravenclaw

Man i loved the book but in the movie all that matters is the action the best part will be the battle at hogwarts because in the books it was good and the best part is always the action. thats what I wanted since I read ootp that they talked about a war I love it they beter not mess it up in the movie personally I dont think they should waste too much time on the plot
They just got to make sure the war at hogwarts is perfect oh and voldy vs harry cause that was lame two spells and nothin more, they should make it longer the movie should be about 3 hours at least
I think it was great. How Voldemort's arrogance was his ultimate undoing. Like how he insulted the Centaurs and they actually did something instead of staring at the moon. _________________
I thought the final battle was great! I mean all the puzzle pieces fell into place and, yeah,
Spoiler:
Harry got a reprieve. Although I still don't get why Voldemort's Killing Curse rebounded o_O

the killing curse rebounded because he hadn't defeated its previous owner. snape never defeated dumbledore, draco did and harry had already defeated draco so it could not work properly. that's how i took it...
so once expeilamius hit voldemort the wand went to its owner.
I loved it when Mrs. Wealsey killed Bellatrix, "NOT MY DAUGHETER, YOU BITCH!" and also how harry kept calling voldemort Riddle and speaking to him like he was a child.
