We have disabled remote avatars. These are avatars (images under your username) that you did not upload here on the forums. You cannot use images that are hosted at another site. If you were using a remote avatar, it will no longer be displayed. You can still upload custom avatars using the form on your Profile. Currently, users can upload avatars up to 13KB and 80 x 80 pixels.

The reason for this change is a security vulnerability. This will probably be a permanent change since it allows us to make sure that avatars meet certain criterias and do not interfere with the layout of the forums.
