I would tell her to re-write the epilogue and next time do it like tolken did in lord of the rings.

and not to name one of harry's kids Albus severus

yes i agree...

i brought this up in another topic...

i loved Tolkiens ending for LOTR

i wish she had just made it longer and that we knew more about what happened.....

but i would ask her to create a new series about either Dumbledores Past or The Potter Kids future.

ok... my first day here and I can see that I will be leaving.

I came looking for a place in which I could find folks that felt the same as me about the book. But this is obviously filled with those more interested in trying to bring down other's enjoyment of the book.

One can't even make their own thread to say thanks without it being dominated by negative people.

later all.. time to find more adult forums ... I leave you all to wallow ...

I would also say thank you to Ms. Rowling. I might have large issues with the seventh book, but she still created an amazing series that gave me hundreds of enjoyable moments and broadened my own imagination -- she created magic. I don't think I'd ever say to her, "Well, you messed up at the end, sister!" She still committed a huge act of creation, labor, and love. She deserves my thanks.

Rewrite the last duel harry/voldy to actually have action in it and rewrite the entire epilogue to make it actually useful in closing the Harry Potter story instead of leaving it wide open for if your next story fails you have something that can bring you back to the limelight.

I would tell her that the books are just tops but the finale of the last one is not so good.
