well I heard someone say that they liked harry and ginny's first kiss in HBP better than Ron and Hermione's first in DH...but I disagree. of course, I didn't ship harry/ginny before it happened, and I've shipped ron/hermione for ages...so naturally I'm biased. but lets see what most people think.

Ron and Hermiones by far! They were acting like a couple through the whole book, and it was bound to happen. I think all the Ron/Hermione fans were holding their breath waiting for the moment they kissed and THEY DID! I thought it was so romantic how he picked her up...definately better than Harry and Ginny's (no offense to H/G shippers).

I did like Harry and Ginnys first kiss in HBP, but to me Ron and Hermiones was a lot more overdue. And the way Ron was worried about the house elves, finally being the reason that Hermione kissed him. I think that was so cute.

Since I had been shipping Harry/Ginny since I was about six I had been waiting for just about ever to see the kiss I voted for that......but I really did like Ron and Hermione's kiss. It was just so long overdue! I knew they were going to happen though so it wasn't like a OMG momment for me.

| well, i was the person that sparked this, there was just something really attractive to me about Harry just forgetting about all his worries about what may happen and just kissing Ginny. I admit that Ron and Hermione's kiss was just as great, and maybe it was just my bias towards the H/G relationship that made me like theirs better. |

| There’s no way the Hermione/Ron kiss on page 625 was their first. It was just the first time JKR wrote about them kissing. It was a great moment, but between the two, I liked the Ginny/Harry kiss on page 116 more. |

Psh, totally Ron/Hermione, no doubt about it. I mean, just the fact that the girl acted first makes it all-the-more awesome, plus it was just so sudden... even though everyone knew it was coming!
Harry and Ginny's kiss in Half-Blood Prince was pretty dang sweet, but I'm stickin with the most-shipped couple...

ooo wow the battle is really close. they were both great kisses, but R/Hr was totally better. because he finally got it, got her. I read the H/G kiss and I was like "ok" but with R/Hr my entire being celebrated
but I already mentioned how I'm biased..haha. But we all are.

I still say Ron had been snogging Hermione for quite some time. JKR just wasn't writing it. It was a great kiss though, I admit. It will be neat to eventually see on the big screen. I liked Harry’s reaction too! That was cute  |

no I don't think they had kissed before. they didn't seem totally sure if they were together theirselves. thats why ron thought she might want Harry instead. and it added to hermione's confusion when he left.

To me Harry and Ginny's first kiss was more fairytale while Ron and Hermione's kiss was more real.
Ya have Harry and Ginny with their many sunlit days... they ignore everyone in the room, without care, they let their pretenses fall. It's just them... he had no idea if she still cares for him. She has no idea if she has a chance with him... She had just beaten his ex-girlfriend at Quidditch by catching the snitch right from under her. And she just threw herself into his arms and he took a huge risk.
Ron and Hermione... they have liked each other for awhile, it was all there. He knew, she knew... but neither wanted to be the first to put their heart on the line. Because that leads to vulnerability and hurt feelings, which both had experienced and didn't want to go through. Especially when their friendship is at stake. But when Hermione hears Ron talk about the House-elves, and this time it isn't a line he got from a stupid book his brothers gave him... she drops everything and goes for it.
Both kisses were very sudden... and you did get the idea that maybe both people involved expected it... but at the same time, one lasted for several sunlit days while the other was swept off their feet. It is very hard to decide which kiss was better.

lol! thats so true. even though it was more "intimaaate" lets say, i think that ron and hermionies was way more anticipating and way more worth being celabrated. R/Hr all the way
