Snape is so awesome! I'm so happy he's good! I'm was sooooo sad when I found out how awful everyhthing was, what with Lily and stuff...he's always been the coolest character ever, Alan Rickman's perfect for him in the movies, i've been rooting for him since I watched them. I knew he couldn't have actually really killed Dumbledore, at least not like he did!

I would love a book on Snape's past. I would love to learn more about his relationship with Lily. I thought that was a sweet part of the story.

yah i thought that was sweet, but somehow i kind of wish he was evil, u know just so that he could live up to that teacher that harry thought he knew. kinda twisted i know Razz

i always thought he would be good... i absolutley LOVE the Prince's tale. it was sooo sad. I read it like 20 times!!

my favorite line in the whole book is when he's talking to dumbledore and he reveals that his patronus is Lily's doe and dumbledore goes
"after all this time?"
"always"

and there were tears in his eyes. i was like awwww!!! i want to give you a hug Laughing

Completely...that "always" did it in for me, I had tears in my eyes after all the images in the pensieve (sniff, sniff) Crying

What a tragedy...and yes, I would love it if they came out with a book on Snape, but I suppose we already know so much, and she said she would not continue with the series. And if anyone but JK Rowling wrote it, they wouldn't know the character as well therefore they couldn't convey the completely tragic past and capture the mix of sardonic cynicism, sarcasm, yet also the twisted and sad heroism that defines Snape.

Well, just imagine...we're not the only ones reading it. Can you imagine what it would do to the little kids that were rooting for Snape? we're older, we can handle whatever he turned out to be. But if there was a young Slytherin rooting for Snape to be good, and wasn't...it could crush their world.

thats very true sexyseverus.. it would crush them.. i don't know about there world though... but yeah if i was a kid i'd be angry if i wanted him to be good and he turned out to be bad..
