Ok, you are going off topic also. We are supposed to be talking about if you thought Dumbledore died or not. If you have a problem with what I am posting PM me pockets. You are spamming as much as me posting this stuff. Now, lets forget about this and get back on topic!

Anyway i sort of started to suspect DD was in for it when i noticed the hand thing, the private lessons, the "I'm your buddy" sessions, the little trip to Private Drive - that's where we first met him - the pensive scenes were also a dead givaway. By the time the little trip to the cave happened there was no doubt in my mind whatsoever - of course i took a little peak while DD was drinking the mad potion, but whatever. At the end though it was still shocking the way he crossed to the other side Crying

i was watching the news and the reporter said "someone is going to die in the new harry potter book, and it doesnt look good for dumbledore."

i was so shocked and then i was like wait, they wouldnt say that! that proves he wont die! even though at the back of my mind i really thought he was gonna die. which made me even madder when he did die. i hope she got fired.

also, i dont believe he is dead anymore. dumbledoreisnotdead.com

Honestly? I had no idea he was gonna die so soon. I mean, I assumed he would in book 7, cos' then his job as Harry's guide/protector/mentor would be complete and he's old enough, anyway. But it came as a total shock to me when Snape killed him. I think I scared everyone with the way I cried my eyes out... Lol.

Well, I did suspect something like this to happen... only not to Dumbledore himself...

Anyway, there's a pattern... all the deaths are protectors of Harry.
First there were the deaths of James and Lily, who where his parents.
Second, the death of Sirius who was his godfather.
Next, dumbledore...

Edit: I just thought about Hagrid... this would mean that he's on the dead-list as well.

i thought there was a small chance of him dying but it suprised me after reading it i just kinda sat there thinking of it, it was really awkward...

I wasn't expecting it and was hoping that it wouldn't happen because i would have loved it if he stayed with Harry to the end but he died...and can't change that and i'm sure we all knew that he was when we read about his dead hand Laughing

I expected his death to be honest...

The book had him in it more than usual and i felt as if when i was reading it that he was preparing for soemthing

I figured out what Draco's secret mission was partway through, based on things like "how can he, when the Dark Lord himself ..." and the obviousness that he was supposed to kill someone. All the things that Harry traced back to him - the opal and the wine - were meant to kill. We already knew voldemort wanted to kill Harry himself, so I figured out it was Dumbledore, 'the only one he ever feared'. Based on that, Voldemort wouldn't want to take on Dumbledore himself, so I figured he'd probably told Draco to do it. I was never really sure if Dumbledore would actually die, but I thought he probably would. Actually, I thought Snape would die too by rejecting the Unbreakable Vow, and then Draco or another Death Eater would kill Dumbledore.
