how do they fit the phoenix feathers and unicorn hair into the wands. its not like the wands are really thick

Maybe the phoenix feathers,unicorn hairs etc don't have to be largely porpotioned? Who knows.

how long is a unicorn tail hair or a feather when rolled up. the wands wouldnt need to be that think for them to be placed inside
