i few things still bothered me about that chapter.
Spoiler:

ok first thing is, what was that place?
a place that served as connection to the world of the living and the world of the dead, kinda like Purgatory?

2nd is, how did Harry get there?
my theory is because of the Deathly Hallows, since he had the three items (the cloak, resurrection stone and he was technically the master of the elder wand then) and that therefore made him master of death

3rd, i'm still unclear about the blood connection that harry had with Voldemort, So does that mean that Voldemort became Harry's horcruxes when he used Harry's blood to resurrect himself and he didn't even knew about it?

4th, How the heck did Dumbledore get there? was it because of the resurrection stone? or was Dumbledore waiting there for Harry to arrive

Okay, and maybe I missed this in another thread...but what the heck was the deal with the creature/baby thing that was making a fuss when Harry and Dumblledore were talking. Harry kept wantting to help it and Dumbledore kept telling him it was beyond help. What was it? What was the significance?

I believe it was the little part of Voldemort that was in Harry.

1. They called it King's Cross because it was a pseudo-train-station between life and death. My theory is that when you die, you go there, and you can choose to come back (as a ghost in most cases) or go on.

2. Harry was still alive. His blood was in Voldemort, so as long as Voldemort lived, Harry lived, which brings us to...

3. Harry's blood still had Lily's protection on it. As long as the enchantment survives, so does that which it protects. Since the enchantment is alive in Voldemort, Harry can survive until Voldemort dies.

4. I assume anyone dead can go there... though it doesn't serve much of a purpose for them unless they want to turn into ghosts. Dumbledore waited there for Harry to explain everything.

As for the little baby/creature thing, that was the piece of Voldemort in Harry, which was killed when Voldemort killed Harry originally. That thing did not have the option of going back into Harry's body.

ok... now i get why the chapter was called "The flaw in the plan"

Voldemort only knew that using Harry's blood would breach Lily's protection on Harry

what he didn't knew was that it didn't / cant fully break it and it only made things worse for him

and thats why when Harry told Dumbledore about it in book 4, his reaction was (IIRC) "glint of victory in the corner of his eyes"

so... doesn't that technically made Voldemort Harry's Horcrux?

Nope. A horcrux is an item in which part of your soul is imbued. It makes it so as long as Voldemort lives, Harry lives, but by technicality, Voldemort is not Harry's horcrux.

although i was imagining "A King's Cross" and not king's cross with reference to the train station...
