Has anyone ever read this book? It's by Ayn Rand. Besides the HP series, it's my favorite book. I love it to death!

I've read it, and the way she portrays Roark its just fascinating. Not to mention his passion for architect. I think it really changed my vision of architect, and how people should design building.

If you're under 16 or younger I wouldn't recommend this to you, because of the content of the book.

Spoiler:

Yup, you guessed it. Someone "kinda" rape someone Rolling Eyes

But overall I think you should like the storyline.

It is a wonderful story on the human spirit and the triumph of individuality over collectivism. I would recommend the book to anyone.

Ayn Rand is high up on my list of "most boring writers of all time."

While I agree with most of her philosophy on objectivism and such, her writing style itself just screams "I'd rather be taking it from the back by a rusty saw blade than read this."
