Yeah it was kinda weird. First movie they were little children and the second movie to te fifth they turn into big, voice broken teenagers!!!

Not nessisarily, I mean, look at a ten year old, they're much smaller then what I thought i looked like when I was ten or eleven

They do look quite young and tiny. I'm amused by how deep Dan R's voice got between movies 1 and 2...

Yeah. Puberty. And Radcliffe definitely changed in appearance between the first two films. They were only released 1 year apart and yet, you could tell that Radcliffe had aged from a kid into a pre-teen. The difference between the 2nd and 3rd film is quite large too. Radcliffe looks the same in the 3rd and 5th films, just that he looked older in the 5th. That's the problem with casting kids/teens in a long series of movies. The aging of them is unpredictable. I mean, who knew the twins would be that tall? I always thought Ron was described as being taller than the twins.

I could definely tell Dan was growing up when I saw 5. His face just looks so much more chiseled and manly! Loss of baby fat I guess...or maybe it was just because he had less hair.  He's definitely getting hotter!

argh so true! how old were they when they acted again? they looked really young and im young so that must mean theyre uber young?

i think they could pass for 10, 11 and 12.
everyone developes differently.

emma was 10, dan was 11, rupert was 12, i believe.

i think they look about the right age. dan was 11, harry was 11, and he looked 11. my sis is 11, and in the 1st movie he looks the same age my sister

hermione looked the smallest but they do look like about 10. |

| I thought they all looked about ten. A lot depends on how they act. They all acted like they were about 9 or 10 in the first movie. A bit of a shock at first to see Dan and Ron looking so much older in ths second movie, but I got used to it. I thought all the kids looked too old for their parts in the third movie. Not so much in the forth movie, becase their characters were older. Have not seen the fifth movie. |
