LONDON, England (Reuters) -- Thousands of Harry Potter fans have signed a petition urging J.K. Rowling to keep writing novels about the boy wizard after she admitted she could "never say never" to more books.

-SNIP-

"I think that Harry's story comes to quite a clear end in book seven," she told the BBC at the weekend. "But I have always said that I wouldn't say never.

That doesn't necessarily mean he is going to die.

He most probably will. I think he was one of the two that was gonna live but now die.

naw, she wouldn't change something that big that late. If Harry was going to die it was part of the plan from the beginning.

She actually said that "Who knows, maybe in 10 years, I might want to come back to that universe."

I watched the interview, it was like she meant to say it in a way that it wouldn't be about Harry but just about the magical world.

She could do prequels or post Harry Potter I think.

Honestly I'd like to see Dumbledore's 7 year's at Hogwarts. From what we hear he was even more gifted in magic than Harry (the OWL guys in OOTP says he tested him and saw him do things with a wand he'd never seen).

I think Dumbledore would have had some great adventures at Hogwarts.

I think it would be awesome to see him getting sorted. I had the idea for a fan fiction.

The hat would not be able to decide...

"Oh yes, bravery, that's Gryffindor...."

"Oh, but a brilliant mind lays beneath... perhaps Ravenclaw?"

"A willingness to accept everyone and yes, loyalty I sense... perhaps Hufflepuff?"

Wouldn't it have to be Gryffindor since he stated "I hated the curtains so much that I set fire to them in my fourth year" while talking to Harriny in his room?

I am just saying the hat would have a hard time choosing, it would be fun to read, that's all I'm saying. Sort of a parallel to how it had a hard time with Harry between Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Wink

Plus does he even say that in the book? I thought it was just in the movie.

JK does do books for charity. Perhaps a book about Albus defeating Grindelwald?

(fact from the TV Guide channel....that woman from Scholastic said they were printing 12 million....for the US only) Surprised
