Lets face it if they make this PG 13 the movie will lack alot i mean all of the deaths

Blood and shit it would be good if they rated it R (but i know they wont)

Well they can show deaths and loss of body parts, just nothing too graphic.

To be honest, there really wasn't a lot of blood. Most of the murders were done by Avada Kadavra. Plus, I don't think they'll really go over all of the deaths in the movie. They'll probably just focus on the major deaths.

If they want the movie to be any good, they will retain the deaths, language, and gore...

It will be at least rated pg-13, It would be rated R save for the fact that the target crowd for these movies are children under the age of 17, who we all know cannot purchase an R rated movie ticket.

But of course it will be PG-13

they could do it without gore, i hate all of the new gory movies out there. it is like blood and guts take the place of actual acting ability. if we are going to pay actors millions of dollars to make a movie make them ACT!! lol

if its done right this could be a good movie.

It'll totally be PG-13. There isn't going to be much blood tho... as it was already said "avada kadavra" was mainly used. maybe the part when

george's ear comes off

They would never rate it R, but I guess it might be lacking a little with the death/blood scences.

Would Hermione getting tortured be allowed in a PG-13 movie?

if this movie isnt rated R it will be nothing compared to the book

also it will lack for the older readers and movie goers.

An R rating might be too harsh... I mean, if you want any kids to be allowed to see the film.

From http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp

Quote:
An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children

theres no reason to make it Rated- R, theres nothing bad enough in it to make it rated R and if they do make it rated R they are going to miss out on a lot of money because parents probably won't let their little kids see it if it is rated-R
The only reason would be to make the deaths more gorey but theres no reason to, it'll be fine

It WAS a kids book.

Does anyone else noticed she stuck with our generation. The book became more mature as we aged. Its no longer a kids book.

George's ear and Ron's splinching his arm were the only real times blood was spilt, and I'm pretty sure they could manage a PG-13 with that.
