Anyone else notice that in the first couple of films Harrys eyes are blue and in the last couple of films they are green (as they should be)?

Also his eyes were cool when he was processed!!

I think Radcliffe's eyes are naturally blue. It probably looks green under certain lighting.

in the newer movies its been alot darker maybe that was a factor

Daniel Radcliffe's eyes are blue. They decided to keep them blue instead of using contacts or computers for two reasons... the contacts bothered him and besides, when they use his natural eyes then it is easier to see his emotions and what-not. If they had covered his eyes with contacts or with computer junk, then it wouldn't be him, it would be fake.

It was the same with Voldemort. In the books his eyes are red. When they went to change Ralph Fiennes' eyes using computer technology in GoF they decided against it because it was hard to emote "naturalism" with red eyes. So they decided to leave it green.

In OotP, towards the end, when Harry's eyes look green when they're battling in the halls of the Ministry it's because Voldemort is trying to possess him. That is why his eyes are green.

They should get him Green contacts to wear cuz I think the green eyes will be very important in the next book! As it was said they were

They tried green conatcts for the first movie and it bothered his eyes. You couldn't even see his eye color until the close-ups in PoA, really.

The thing with contacts is, in close-ups on film, they don't really look right. It doesn't look natural. The same thing with computer technology.

I would love to know that, too. I wonder if it's the color itself, green. Or if it's just the fact that his mother had the same color. Because then they could just make Lily's eyes blue. But if the color is significant... oh boy.

Anyway, yeah, if they change the color to "blue" for just the movie, then it'll be beyond lame. So I hope it's not the color itself that's significant, just the factthat it's the same color as Lily's.

Yea it would be lame. But I do think its just that there the same as lilys, but could it be both?
A reason lily had then important, then Harry gotthem which made it even more immportant. Maybe the colour is important and who has that specific colour is important?

Yea, Unless they find someway to fix it, couldnt they use computers? It may look a little but lame but for the close up shots at least they would look slightly green?

I think it might be too late. They've already had close-ups of Daniel radcliffe, to change his color now...

Besides, when you change the eye color, you cover up the actor's... acting. They try to emote with even their eyes. To cover that up would be beyond terrible.

Man there's picky then there's over the top. He couldn't wear contacts because it iritated his eye's and made them puff and swell up.
What does it matter if he has blue eye's. Obviously it does bother JK otherwise she really would have pushed for them the computered or something.
