I am a children's book author, and this is a shameless plug for my site, www.startledserpentbooks.com. Of particular interest are The Bloodstone Books, an adventure mystery series, though Refrigerator Slugs is a favorite in Oregon...The books are handmade for the moment, but I continue to submit manuscripts to publishers.
I am a single mother, and I am struggling with a disability incurred during childbirth. I don't expect everyone to buy a handmade book, but I would appreciate it if you would visit my site. This not only gets my name out there, but it helps build the popularity of my site.
In case you're wondering, I am a Harry Potter fan--I've read the entire series to my toddlers at naptimes...
