I wonder what the catalyst will be that makes Ron start dating Lavender? Are they going to stick to the book and have it be because of a misunderstanding about Viktor? Or something else. I hope they don't make it seem it's because Ron likes her better than Hermione. Shocked

Well, besides Ron being jealous that Hermione snogged Viktor, he as also upset with her because she didn't think he saved those goals himself, that he was only able to do it with help from the lucky potion. I hope they keep everything in, Viktor, the potion, the Quidditch game... but seeing as how the filmmakers hate me... I think the whole thing will be left out completely.
Seriously, I hope not. I hope everything will be left in, as is. Oh, I really, really hope so!
I doubt it'll be because Ron likes Lavender better. Or you'll hear about me in the papers:

Remind me, cuz I can't remember. Did Hermione actually kiss Viktor in book 4 or was it a misunderstanding? I don't feel like searching through my book.

Since we only see the stories(well, usually) through Harry's eyes, then we don't really know. But no, it's not mentioned. Until HBP when Ron catches Ginny and dean snogging. Ginny yells at Ron that he's just jealous because Harry's snogged Cho and Hermione's snogged Viktor. After Ginny leaves, Ron asks Harry if he thinks it's true that Hermione snogged Viktor and Harry doesn't know how to answer. Harry assumes it must be true... which means the reader(us) can also safely assume it could be true. Because Ginny said it, Hermione probably told her in confidence... the same way Ginny knew that Harry had snogged Cho.

I'm still so worried about this. Shocked

I hope they stick to the book. If not, they could at least make Ron upset about Hermione writing letters to Viktor. That was never mentioned in the new movie.

That's what I've been saying... we should totally take over the studios. And force them into submission. And be like, look, stop leaving out the good stuff put. Except there would be a loud more cursing involved.
