Ive got the first two in paperback and the rest hardcover. Im not sure which is best though cause the paperback ones have like curled at the corners abit but the hardcover ones are stiff on the spine and get annoying lol

Sorry I hit hardcover.
I actually have a mixture. 1-5 in in paperback and 6 & 7 in hardcover. Hardcover is better in my opinion, paperback's wear out too fast, the spines on my paperbacks are really bad.

1-3 paperback and 4-7 hardcover

I prefer hard because it stays together better. the cover of PoA is practically ripped off...

I have the first and the fourth in paperback. I got the second and third on birthdays in hardback. And book five I think is when I started really getting into it and I made sure I got it in hardback and I went to the midnight parties for books 6 and 7.

I have the 1st book as a paperback and 2-7 in hardcover. I still haven't made the effort to buy the first, but I plan on doing it soon. My shelf just doesn't look right with 1 paperback and 6 hardcovers.

I think the hardcovers look a lot nicer, but the paperbacks are easier to read IMO. The only thing I don't like about the paperbacks is the creases you get on the spine while reading. It just makes my Sorcerer's Stone look really ugly.

Yeah mine are the same, GOf and OOTP look horrible because of all the lines in the spine.
