Ok we all know that there is something going on between Hermione & Ron!
But I think that in book 7 they will finally reveal there love of each other and possible get married!
Don't brush it off I have a real theory!
in HPB page 92 after Fleur announces that she and bill are going to get married,
mrs weasley is upset because she said that they are rushing into this engagement.
'I know why it's happened, of course. It's all this uncertainty with You-Know-Who coming back,
people think they might be dead tomorrow, so they're rushing all sorts of decisions they'd normally take time over,
it was the same last time he was powerful, people eloping left right and centre-'
'Including you and Dad,' said Ginny slyly
'Yes, well your father and I were made for each other, what was the point in waiting?'
Who are more made of each other? Ron & Hermione!
They may not marry in book 7 but I can see Ron proposing to Hermione!
Ron has already told Hermione that he loves her!
Please JKR let it happen! _________________
Anyway, I don’t think he will propose but it’s very likely that the two of them will get into a somewhat serious relationship (they are just kids). They are just way too young too get married or even engaged especially with all the crap happening around them. _________________
What sue me, I think it would be great to see Ron propose to Hermione, i mean it would be so romantic. After watchingsince for me what seems to be a game of cat and mouse since PoA it would finally be a relief to see some action. But maybe Pockets is right they are too young to marry - though that didn't stop Romeo and Juliet. _________________ "WAR IS PEACE

Very good point, Hocrux.
Everyone knows something is going on with Hermione/Ron, but do you think it would go so far as a marriage in their seventh year? They've always been attracted to each other, as is illustrated by many of the books, but they've never seriously been in a relationship. I think it'd take some getting used to way before marriage. _________________
Ron has taken Seven books to ask her out. One he *realises* that there's something going on, Ron could move quite fast.
He's dead jealous of Krum.
So he might move the dates along a bit faster than we'd expect... lets be honest, Ron's so laid back, he's going in reverse!
Once he's got the courage to ask Hermione out (oh, that will be painful, but such fun) he's going to be the marrying type.
Going out on a limb, I could see those pair getting engaged in their final year... _________________ Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
I still disagree. Although it's true that Ron has taken seven books to ask her out, I think he'd be so nervous to finally be on a date with the girl he's admired forever that he'd freeze up. I just can't see them getting engaged or married in their final year. Maybe at the very end after they've graduated, but still....a long stretch, in my opinion.

Ron's the best chessplayer (still haven't worked out if that is important in book7) and Hermione is the brightest witch.
Seems a good match to me! _________________ Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

yeah, agreed. Great match!
In response to Ron's chess in book 7:
Chess is all about strategy....and since Ron is amazing at it, he is probably good at strategizing. He might be able to think of a really brilliant plan for Harry to somehow get to Voldemort. and Hermione is ALWAYS useful to have around!
If he can't even admit his feelings at the yule ball....Then what makes you think he has the guts to engage?
If anyone will be pulling the strings in that relationship it will be Hermione. I see it already.
She will be wearing the boots in the family =] _________________ Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

i think that if there is a proposal at all it will be in the epilogue..i doubt it will be in the STORY part of it... unless it is in like the last chapter.. thats when JKR really throws things like that at us *AS IN BOOK 6*
What a match A Poor Blood and a Mudblood. BRAVO BRAVO.
hahaha!!! nice one!
anyway, jk has given so many hints that its gonna be the two of them. if harry were alive, i can totally see him as godfather. haha...
the pairing up of ron and hermione is a classic example of "opposites attract". ive never seen anyone who are so completely at the opposite ends of the spectrum. _________________
Well I have heard a while back that they were going to get married.
Personally I think Harry and Hermione would be much better but hey I don't mind. _________________ Your fellow fan,
