i think "Protego" is used there and it is a protecting spell, like a shield or something. it shields the caster from some attack spells but i dunno if it'll work with avada kedavra. to someone who knows that it also works in preventing avada kedavra plz. tell us.

there are a lot of spells used in this book, particuarly in the D.A. meetings. Harry teaches them all sorts of spells, including disarming, stunning, patronuses, blasting, and other various spells.

You want us to do what? List all the spells in OotP... say what they do... then classify it? What is the cassification system you want us to use?
Are we going to get graded on this? Razz

Huh? Protego can't stop Avada Kedavra, no spell can.

Spoiler:

Well actually someone dying for you can. And Horcruxes (but you'll still be blasted from your body). But nothing else, as far as we know.
