hello, im new to this forum and i need your help! i am interested in the lavender brown audition. however, you have to be 15-18.

my birthday is the 9th July, and the audition is on the 1st. at the moment i am 14, so if i went to the audition i would only be fourteen, yet a week later i would turn 15! do you know how strict they are on age? if anyone can give me any help, e.g. phone numbers of people to contact, please do, as im passionate abot playing this part.

Isn't it funny, you hear a phone ring, and it could be anybody, but a ringing phone has to be answered, doesn't it.

That's only an 8 day difference and the filming wouldn't begin till well after your 15, just go to the audition and see what happens. The main thing is, could you pass for a 16 or 17 year old with your looks, that's the main thing.

thanks for the advice! but i was wondering why someone called me a 'fake'? im not really sure why i would be seen as one, as all i know is that i am very interested in acting and harry potter! Question

on the website of the london exhibition center it says that u need to take a passport as proof of age and ethnicity so i think that means there quite strict

Oh I know how this works since I tried out for a HP extra in Half-Blood Prince. First you would've needed to have joined a theatre school or have a agent to have gotten a note about Lavender Brown auditions and given information. The main things you need for the audition would be:

4 passport photos
Birth certificate
Health forms sent to you by the film casters

Unfortunately I do not have any contact numbers since my audition was a one-off. I don't really doubt that you wouldn't be able to get into it, but the film business is rather strict since they look for different types of people for characters. I also wanted to audition for the part but my birthday is on the 30th July and I'm also 14.

I hope this was some help on getting to the audition.
