Has anyone heard about this new reality show that's based on Harry Potter? It's called "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". I just finished watching the first episode earlier this evening. It's showing on the BBC. I don't know if they're gonna show it in the US though, but maybe, because they've shown other UK reality shows like Brat Camp. I thought it was pretty good anyway.
The reality show follows a group of 14 British school children (7 boys and 7 girls) who are sent to a Hogwarts-style boarding school to learn magic, illusions, spells and card tricks. Each week, the kids compete, performing their magic in front of a live audience and the Sorcerer himself. A panel of Magic Mentors decides who will stay and who will be sent home.
Yeah, most of the kids seem to be around 12 or so, but some are older. I'd say it gives you a good idea of what going to Hogwarts would really be like. _________________ http://www.audiobookharrypotter.com
