So, for the past week (well, 4 days) my heart has been beating unusually fast. It felt like how your heart feels after you just ran for 15 minutes, but this was non-stop.

today, I decided to call the doctor. He wasn't in, instead, a younger substitute was in. I told him my symptoms and he said go to the emergency room right away. This got me nervous.

I get there, they take my blood pressure, pulse, etc. (my pulse was 145 O-o)
then, they x-rayed my chest, and then I waited for many hours until they told me I needed a catscan (sp?). I wait many more hours until I finally get it. They injected a dye into my I.V and it felt strange. It burned thoughout my whole upper torso, but only for a bit.

In the end, nothing was life-threatening. But I have to go to my personal doctor tomorrow to see what it is.

I spent 8 hours in the hospital (was watching ESPN most of the time). So, crises overtted. They said to cut back on my caffine intake, and try to relax (I've been very stressed lately) Just thought I'd share.

That's really weird... yeah, let us know when you find out more about it.

I have a heart murmur, so I'm not really a stranger to heart problems lol. You should probably go see a cardiologist, though... just because the specialists are usually the only ones that have a clue what they're doing. When my regular doctor found my heart murmur, it was really obvious he didn't know what was going on, but he at least referred me to a cardiologist... and my problem is nothing life-threatening. It's not even anything that affects me. I don't feel it. My heart just randomly decides to spaz and then goes back to normal.

I'm no stranger to heart problems myself. I've had three open heart surgeries and am expecting a fourth one eventually. I have had these problems since I was small, though.

My cat has a heart murmer. Sad
I tell her "it's because her heart is overflowing with love." But I don't think she believes me.

*worries*

thanks for support.

I took a sonogram like thing for my heart at the cardiologist office. It was kinda weird, I saw my hear pumping, they used thermal I think to show my blood flow, and I even heard my heart O-o

it sounded like a person gargling really heavily and quickly. The stuff they rubbed on my chest and stomach made my tummy smooth :3

gonna get results either this weekend or next week.
