The battle ended. The dark followers retreated and the body of their master, Lord Voldemort, who had fighted for the dark, was killed by a killing curse.
The followers feared that the Ministry was still searching for the surviving followers, but either way if they didn't or did. They went into muggle homes, caves and mountains, for safety.
Rowle, a Death Eater who fought in the battle did not like the fact that Lucius and the other Malfoys retreated, leaving their master with hardly no defences.
Another, Fenrir Greyback almost died from a terrible missing killing curse, which he regretted. But stayed along with Rowle and his another retreating Death Eater, Travers.
The three all sat undecided on what to do if they came after them. They thought, but feared to talk to each other.
Rowle, the tall, blonde haired one, spoke at once, not trying to get any attention, "Those Malfoys! I feel like ripping their snobby little heads off!"
This attracted Greyback at once. He, a werewolf made a silly suggestion at Rowle's statement. "You can't. But I will." He smiled devilishy. Travers still quiet and not listening.
Travers sniggered and took out a notepad and pen, "I feel like giving up, Azkaban's not that bad..."
"Quiet! We do not want to go there, its horrible! Now, what shall we do!"
"Nothing. Be safe." Travers softy said out. With Rowle and Greyback's face turning a twisted red.
"No. Were going to re-build our forces, the war is not over yet! There is still a battle..." Rowle burst out at Travers.
"How? No one wants to join us. Well, there is a few mates in the pub who I know who'd like to join the dark side...they insisted..." Greyback suggested.
Rowle smiled at Greyback, Travers thinking more then paying attention to Greyback. Nothing blew in his mind besides the time that he had gone into Borgin's shop and seen a boy, nephew of Borgin with him.
"Maybe Borgin's nephew? I think it's Morgan. He seems quite strong and quite a good magician." Travers added.
Rowle making pleased faces took his wand, and for the first time for years, he cried out, "Morsmorde!"
All of what the magic world had given up and won had now come back down to a start, they'd have to work hard to make up for it. But the Death Eaters knew they'd find all they needed for this situation, and would never let down the fight. _________________

The Ministry had recieved no reports, sightings or even captured Death Eaters in that week, it had been rough and disappointing for the Ministry, but decided that they had to do something to improve the situation.
The afternoon after the Death Eater's discussion was more what Kingsley Shackbolt expected, he now Minister of Magic after Fudge's resigning and Thicknesse's resigning. He now was walking down Level Two of the Ministry, he saw clean floors and bright walls covered in by the sun.
But, as he reached the end of the sun's shadow, he saw the meeting room which Thicknesse said, "Follow the sun until the shine is no more"
He opened the door, peeking in, seeing Mifalda Hopkirk, Pius Thicknesse and Rita Skeeter.
He moved in, sitting in the chair which was in the spotlight more then the others, then recalling himself, looked at Thicknesse and spoke. "So, as you said, the Death Eater hunting party have not found anything of use have they not?"
Thicknesse shrugged and looked at Kingsley in a way that Kingsley found mysterious, "I'm not sure sir, but I think tha before I came down there was a call from a women, she found as she thought three of them travelling up a mountain, but there gone, no sign of them. I'm guessing they have retreated to some continent in the Muggle World."
Kingsley nodded and asked, "When did this call occur?" Then moving forward, he stared at Thicknesse.
"Around 11, yes sir, I've been here discussing it with Skeeter." Thicknesse smiled at Rita, but she did not back.
Mifalda didn't like the fact that Skeeter was here, "And why is someone not apart of the Ministry here, I recall she is the Daily Prophet editor."
Rita Skeeter turned from Pius to Mifalda, she went into a speech, "I am here to advertise for whatever you need more for this hunt."
Kingsley nodded and looked back at Thicknesse, "Now, you had an suggestion of which you wanted me to listen to? Am I right."
Pius nodded smoothly, then stared at Kingsley, "Yes I did. Well, sir, I know of why the Ministry is not getting much evidence, we need more Aurors, for there are hardly none. Why can't we promote more?"
Kingsley sniggered, "Sorry for the sniggering, but hasn't Mifalda told you, Potter and the youngest son of the Weasleys are joining the Aurors in the hunt."

Thicknesse had not heard anything from Mifalda, maybe because she was busy in her office and he did not have time to mess about and talk to her.
Mifalda gave a look that meant "i'm sorry", and Thicknesse nodded. He did not want to go overboard and start thinking she wanted to keep it too herself. But gave her a friendly nod.
She smiled thankfully and turned back to Kingsley, knowing that Thicknesse was going to speak at any moment. He spoke in an unexpected manner, "No, not at all Kingsley, I did not hear about that at all, but I was expecting Harry to join the Aurors, Minerva told me he was anxious."
Kingsley knew of that, remembering him and Thicknesse talking to Minerva after the battle. He looked up and turned to Mifalda, "I just wondered, I thought you told me you had time to tell him that? Did plans change all of a sudden."
She nodded nervously, trying not to be too confident. "Yes sir. Something did occur, Abercon told me to pick up a file Hogwarts sent to us, about the retreating Death Eaters and there names."
"Oh yes, that file, continue on, might tell us what were looking for then..." Kingsley asked, waiting for what Mifalda was about to say.
She took no intrest in him and said, "I do not know. All I know that it was a list of Death Eaters names."
"Good. Just checking to see if you read work your not supposed to look at." He said, not trying to make her curious or concerned.
For then, the meeting closed and the four all moved to there normal working habits, but Kingsley had other plans. He wanted to go visit the Weasleys to tell them something, privately. _________________

Kingsley thought about going tomorrow, but decided that the evening was the best for the Weasley parents. Especially when most of their children were out.
He knew Ron was practising until half-past eight, and Percy was taking him home, so that Ron didn't lead into anything.
But Kingsley knew that Arthur wouldn't be impressed, nor would Molly. But she was kind to guests, which made him confident he could get through it.
He was walking down a path of crops, all kinds of them. Realising the house's features, he walked faster to keep his pace. He wondered if Molly had time, maybe even Arthur.
As he walked further along the path, he took a step to the Burrow's gate and entered, the gate making it's normal rusting sound.
Kingsley then smoothly took a walk to their front door. He faced down and knocked, waiting for an answer.
The moment he knocked, he heard voices of Molly calling George to answer the door, hearing loud footsteps. He stood back, not knowing what George would do.
George opened the door and with a surprised look and he turned to his mother and shouted, "Hey Mum, Kingsley's here", he then turned back to Kingsley, he muttered, "She's coming."
Molly came towards the door, with a bright smile on her face, then shoving George off, she looked at Kingsley, and welcomed him, "Hello Kingsley! What a delight to see you here...I wasn't expecting you any time soon."
"Me too." Kingsley replied to Molly in an digusting tone.
Molly brightened up like Kingsley had never seen her bright up before, then looking at her, she looked at him worried, "Er...do you mind if I ask you a question?"
Kingsley nodded. "Well I am curious about Ron, is he okay, why is he isn't he home yet."
"Read this, it's from the Head Auror." He said, handing it to her with care, not trying to make her feel uncomfortable.
She nodded, not opening it yet. Then switching back on, she graciously shouted, "Oh, how rude I am! Come in! Come in!" She said, opening the door for him, Kingsley walking quickly inside.
"Yes, now. Why are you here?" She asked.
"I want to talk to you and Arthur privately." He said. Seeing the shocked face of Molly, he went over to a leather couch, he sat down, and waited for a reply. _________________
Molly did not know what to say, was it something they the two had did in the past, were they in trouble by the Ministry, she shivered as she nodded to Kingsley, giving a troubled whisper to him, "Er...yes. I'll just go and grab Arthur."
Then she rushed through the downstair halls to the upstairs. She looked shocked and guilty, she could not ris getting her family into trouble. Then knocking, she peeked in, giving a slight whisper to Arthur, who was playing with a packet of batteries. "Come now Arthur. Kingsley wants to speak to us in the living room."
Arthur did not know wether to believe it or not, he frowned at her in surprise. "Kingsley? Why is he here? I don't expect a very, famous wizarding man would be here." He said, moving Molly forward while he came out.
"I don't know Arthur, all I know is that he wants to talk to us." She said, taking a breathe and walking down the stairs calmly, waiting for Arthur to trail on. He hardly did, he walked slower then a tortoise. Mrs. Weasley grabbed him and threw him into the living room, he barely stood.
Molly trailed behind him, smiling dearfully at Kingsley. "Yes. Now that I have got Arthur, you may discuss what you want to talk about with us."
He nodded and thanked Molly, then getting to the point, he sat up high and started to proceed, "Well, as you know. Voldemort, if you mind," they nodded, not giving any sign of fear, "was killed. Yes, you surely know that. Now, we are still cautious about his surviving followers, they seem so destined to have revenge."
Molly and Arthur felt much more comfortable now, knowing that the talk wasn't about anything bad or something that was trouble. Kingsley continued, "And as you know, the Ministry is starting to promote more Aurors, including your son Ron."
Arthur came into the talk, "Yes, Ron. Very confident in becoming one." Kingsley smiled and went on now, "Now. Were not having very much luck and were not deciding wether we should call off the hunt or not."
The two parents gasped. "Yes I know, it may be risky, but we do know that they'd be outnumbered still if they want a fight. For as we know it, we might."
The two calmed down. "This is will better arangements seeing that we are having Remus, Tonks and Fred's funeral in a couple of weeks." Said Arthur, hoping that the time that they'd strike was not then.
"Oh, the funeral! I remember now, I got invited. Thanks so much for the invitation. I will be coming." Kingsley said, showing the parents how much eh respected the three who died.
"Yes, no problem." They both said. Kingsley remembered, he needed the approval from them before moving on. "Wait! I need your approval on wether to stop the hunt or keep going."
The two shook their heads, "I don't think we can decide yet, firstly, because you never know, they could be doing this for years and have a huge army, and second, because their attacks will be nothing."
Kingsley nodded, still seeking more approvals. "Well anyway bye." The two waved at Kingsley, as he went over to the dusty fireplace and picked up some green powder, then dropping it, he said, "Ministry of Magic" and was gone. _________________
