What are some of your favourites?

I like House of Wax, Saw123, House of 1000 Corpses and Amityville Horror.

i love horror movies, as long as their not too violent, that's the only thing i can't stand.
but i don't have any favourites. i only ever really watch a horror movie more than once because half the fun is being in suspense.

but i did like the sixth sense. i can't say alot about the grudge since i was still a bit of a wimp when i saw it and had my eyes closed half the time... Very Happy

OMG WHAT AN AWESOME THREAD!!

lets see...

first and foremost evil dead, evil dead 2, and (bordering on comedy) army of darkness

then i would have to say the omen

final destination movies (more suspense or thriller than horror)

the scream movies were good

all the freddy movies

the reaping was good

i liked the ring and the ring2

halloween, halloween 2, H20, and the rob zombie remake were awesome

speaking of RZ i also suggest house of 1000 corpses and the devils rejects

any horror movie before 1979 (yes cheesy but damn good movies)

Smile

Bride of Chucky

That's all I can think of, for now...

it was kinda thriller.

i personally wouldnt have classed it as "horror"

just like i wouldnt consider When a Stranger Calls a horror movie.

Oh gosh! I rewatched The Secret Window today! This has got to be my favourite role of Johnny Depp (not counting Captain Jack Sparrow, of course Very Happy ). I love how he plays those deranged type of guys. Smile
It`s not very horrible, but it`s after Stephen King, so, yea, I love it!!

One of the most horrible and disguting movies that i`ve ever seen is Madhouse (2004).
The Ammittywill Horror was also quite terrifying, and I liked Hide and Seek with Dakota Fanning and Robert De Niro.

I used to be a super big fan of horror movies, but now not so much. And I don`t like those overall disgusting movies like The Wrong Turn or The Hills Have Eyes, yack. That`s really terrible.

Oh, this is hard to pick. I know some of these are probably more thriller/psychological thriller - but they could still be considered 'scary' movies, so I guess I'd lump them together.

Psycho (the original one) and Silence of the Lambs are probably two of my favorites. And Fatal Attraction is classic.
Arachnophobia has to be one of my favorites for the humor value.
I really enjoyed The Hamiltons.

A lot of my favorite 'horror' movies are vampire movies, so I've got to add Nosferatu (1922, with Max Schrech), Dracula (the Lugosi one), The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Bordello of Blood (cheesy goodness), Near Dark (classic), and 30 Days of Night.

I'm probably forgetting some...oh well.

I tried watching Saw and it disgusted me.

As far as actual horror goes.. I don't think I've seen many, but I'm gonna throw out The Mummy 1 and 2.

I really don't watch that many horror movies because I just don't have an interest in them and they all end the same way, but I have watched House of Wax and Final Destination 3. The only thing I enjoyed in either of them was the nudity in Final Destination 3....but that's just me Razz.
