My PC has started having a problem that whenever I install something from a CD or a DVD either original/pirated, the Task Manager and the Registry Editor are disabled. It happens even after reinstalling the Xp. _________________ Have a look at my creation and works for Harry Potter at http://hjpotter92.forumup.com |

If you know when this happened, you could try a system restore to an earlier date. _________________ {Need a sig?}

That could repair the damage, however the infection would still be active. _________________ irc.iPocalypse.net - Screw the rest, iPoc is the best.

| It doesn't sound like a virus, it sounds like your disc reader is pretty much f--ked. |

I think he is right on this. Seeing as no virus was found. Bad hardware can be as annoying as a virus too. _________________ irc.iPocalypse.net - Screw the rest, iPoc is the best.

Hardware may be corrupt for me only, and not anyone else? It doesn't do anything with anyone else. It works fine on other's computers. _________________ Have a look at my creation and works for Harry Potter at http://hjpotter92.forumup.com |
