Just a few of my poems...

Everyone Loves Alice

Spoiler:

Drink me /eat me /smoke me,
Opium induced alphabet soup,
Waterlogged walrus, death over dinner,
Nonsense – No sense – All the sense in the world

Tea pots, top hats and illogical logic,
Hares Chairs Clams Jams,
Eat me /drink me /feed my head

Red roses and chess, you’ve made quite a mess,
Ahead of your head go a head and head out,
Books with no pictures
Burn down the house
I’m late for my date
Through the mirrorrorrim eht hguorhT
Hack off her head,
Or watch for a smile,
Lost in a Wonderland
Everyone loves Alice

Something Different

Spoiler:

Stop.
Move down,
Down,
Farther down
And jog faster.
Wir haben den ersten Teil geübt.
Switch sides twice.
Then move towards last Sunday when you remember you saw the green plate.
Fast-forward
Stop at the part you decided to stop then rewind it back to today.
Then press eject.
Start the second tape third and remember to press play before you leave.
Watch the show facing the wall for maximum understanding.
Then turn to the left.
Smile and shake the hand of the person closest to your neighbor,
But only if they have your eye.
Rush slowly to the secret exit and go through in an orderly fashion,
No turtlenecks please.
Once through please take your seats so we can start the show.
Habt ihr genug platz?
This is Dexter’s Deliriously Deviant Demonstration.
German translations (We practiced the first part.) and (Do you have enough room?)

The Demonstration

Spoiler:

We’ll start at the beginning,
Letter A
Arms and legs should remain at your sides at all times
Be sure to pay close attention
Cheer as the lights finally come on
Don’t be alarmed
Events of a tragic nature are about to unfold
Flames will reach the ceiling
Grotesque figures line the walls
Have you figured out where we’ve taken you?
I must insist you don’t try to escape
Just stay seated
Kindly stop screaming
Listen to the sounds, look around
Mind your manners
Not sure where we are yet?
Open your eyes
Poor little creatures
Quiet!
Really, even after all this time I can never believe how thick you people can be
Stop your whining
This is your own fault
Useless
Vain and lazy, violent, greedy and fat, your all a bunch of jealous little whores
We know exactly what you did
X’s over your eyes, no one will remember you anyway
You could have had a million, but all you have now is
Zero
Anyway,
Have you figured it out yet?
You have!
Well then,
Welcome to Hell.

One Last Sad Song: Ode to a Violinist (Inspired by Juliek, from Elie Wiesel's "Night"

Spoiler:

One last thing
The last I’ll ever ask of you I promise
Because we cant see the sky
Gone behind the smoke
Because the ground disappeared beneath the snow
We’re running across the ice, into another world
Because the broken walls canE2t block the wind
A loud howling, drowning out our thoughts
Because we are dead
Gone and forgotten
Because we are dying
In a crowd, but so alone
Because we cant breathe
We’re not even trying
Because you know this is the end
Because I know it too
For one last time
Break the silence and drown the wind
Raise your violin
Raise your bow, I’ll raise my eyes
And play me one last sad song
