I think we should disallow Guest privileges to this section. This is where the most Guest spam ends up. I understand we need it for members to post if they've been banned accidentally and things, but it just gets stupid sometimes. _________________
It's fine. Another Moderator or myself will delete the posts. It hasn't come to a point where we need to "man the guns" and constantly delete posts every minute. We to keep guests enabled for members who have problems with there account.
The guest access is allowed so we may help others who forget passwords, need activated accounts, cant login, and or wish to stay anonymous. The spam levels are not as bad for any action. _________________

Yeah, disabling this section for guests would leave a lot of us screwed if we couldn't log in... SheWho had that problem last summer and had to post in here.

That can be part of it. I have suggested this idea once before, but as I said, not really enough spam to go threw the trouble to install a MOD. _________________

Above, the reasoning for allowing guests was posted. Also, the reasoning for (at least now) not having the captcha (thingy) mod installed because of current levels of spam was correct, as well.
