take a cold shower when you first get it. other then that you can get ointment/oatmeal bath other then that... your screwed.

Lmao a lil bit late for that. Shes had it for about a week (Im asking for my friend). And her legs are all bloody from her scratching

That's not the kind of thing you want to laugh at. I feel so sorry for her. It's common sense to not scratch something when it refuses to itch. if anything she should have tied her arms behind her back when she went to bed to keep from scratching.

Oh trust me it is funny if you've had poison oak too and all she did was sit there and laughed while you refused to scratch and were nearly in tears from the itch. I put bleach on mine but that doesnt seem to work for her.

I had poison oak one time, but i had to take meds to get rid of it.

[Actually, try cortizone 10 creme. That should do the trick.]

There's this Burt's Bees stuff that you can get for it, I think. I've never had poison oak before, so I couldn't tell ya.

i'm not an expert, but should you just rinse it with cold water, pat dry wtih paper towels, apply cream, and then bandage loosely? that would prevent scratching
