Hmm, tough question.

I would say the werewolf. If it just grabbed the Pheonix, it could tear it to peices.

but then the phoenix would be reborn. but the phoenix couldn't kill the wolf without a silver bullet....assuming thats how it works in jk's world. so its unlikely the werewolf would die...but it could happen. so I'd have to say phoenix. I've never heard of any way to kill a phoenix.

But the phoenix is only reborn when it burns. The werewolf has definitely chances, but the Phoenix has healing powers, so I guess it's really hard to kill the it. I think the Phoenix would win.

what if the werewolf just ate the phoenix like a bucket of kentucky fried?

it would be digested by the wolf, and be reborn... and redigested... and reborn.

it would be like the never ending meal.

<mcGonnagal> Fenrir darling do you want some dinner?
<Fenrir> Gir No thank you ever since i swallowed faukes, i have had severe heartburn and i am always full. Grr @ delicious fire roasted birdie.

at one point fawkes swallowed a spell aimed for dumbledore, exploded and then was reborn again. I think if anything that would normally be fatal happened to it...it would just burst into flames and be born again.

lol ravvy interesting point...I hope fenrir would wash him off before eating him again though. but I'm sure if the phoenix were reborn inside a werewolf the phoenix could do a lot of damage from teh inside. I dont' think it would be pleasant to wolfy.

Well, see it this way...
Every time a phoenix dies, the phoenix born from its ashes is a baby. I doubt a baby, CNC (Cute N' Cuddly) Phoenix would match against a BBA (Big Bad Arse) Werewolf.
But keep in mind to get the phoenix to get reborn, the Werewolf will have to kill it in the first place, and a Phoenix is a flying creature with powerful magical abilities.

Obviously the phoenix because if they carry on fighting for ages and ages because none of them would die then the fight would go on into the day when the werewolf turns back into a human again, then the phoenix would easily kill the human.

A Pheonix, fall all the reasons above, and the fact it can fly out of reach.

Plus, it has a control over their body, which a werewolf doesn't.

A Phoenix would win because-
1) Phoenix's cannot die, they are just reborn.
2) Werewolves only stay that way under the full moon.

So after a few hours, it would be Phoenix versus human...the winner is obvious Very Happy

I guess it depends on what you mean by "win"

I really think that both would have a hard time killing each other, as pheonixes are either immortal or extremely hard to kill...and warewolves are large, physically powerful creatures with lots of teeth.

I think that the pheonix would win on a technical fluke, but the warewolf (provided it was a transformed warewolf) would put up a pretty good fight.

Same here....I think Phoenix are intelligent creature. Dumbledore having it as his patronous is the proof of it...I believe somehow the phoenix wud win.
