Two additional roles for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have apparently been cast. The part of Regulus Black, death eater and younger brother of Sirius Black, will be portrayed by young actor Tom Moorcroft according to this page at Spotlight.com(be sure to click for additional photos of the actor).
UK Castingcall pro also reveals that Charlie Bennison will be seen in the part of Sanguini the Vampire, who as readers will recall, is a guest at Slughorn’s dinner party.
No formal announcement has yet been made on these latest possible additions, and we will update once we can receive confirmation from WB. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released in theaters November 21, 2008. |

Based off the picture, Tom Moorcraft seems to be an excellent choice for Regulus Black.

I guess they're going to show someones memory or a picture of him. Kind of like Lily and James in some of the other films.

but would a memory thing give it away? not that rab wasn't pretty obvious...did sirius even talk about his brother in the ootp movie though? maybe they need to make up for that...lupin tells harry about sirius' childhood maybe. cue flashback.

Nope.
My guess is.... JKR gave us a clue in the OotP books by mentioning the locket when they are cleaning. In DH Hermione mentioned how she remembered the locket and that's how they were able to find that Horcrux. In the films they left the cleaning out. So in DH when Hermione remembers... well, the film makers built a wall for themselves. So perhaps they are going to add something into the films now so the locket will be findable in the films.
Another theory I have is that the film makers have pulled a flashback out of their arses and are going to show us what crap they can think of.
My third theory is that this casting, still unconfirmed, is untrue.

It would make my day if they actually put Sanguini in there  That actor would make a good vampire.

i think they are both excellent, except I dont know if i believe it any way. I
Random for Regulus Black to be in it, he kinda is like Snape haha
but yeah.. dunno if thats a reliable source.
