It is confirmed by Square Enix that Chrono Trigger, the legendary RPG for SNES, is going to be ported to the DS. What are your thoughts? I'm very excited for it! (I'm sure some of you guys heard this other than me, it was just announced by Square yesterday)

That's nice and all, but I would rather have a sequel than a port of a game I've played to death. Seriously, are we EVER going to get a new Chrono game?!

^ The thoughts about a sequel to Chrono Trigger has been pretty much dead since the old developers shown little, to no interest in getting together again. Sakaguchi said as much earlier.

And I am looking forward to this on the DS since I never had the chance to play the original. I only have Chrono Cross sadly enough.

I have no interest since I have the SNES and PS1 version of the game. Plus, I don't have a DS.

i heard they arent doing much to the game at all... the graphics will be the same, the playage, you might as well get the emulator of this game if you want to play the game. .. and you dont have to fork thirty bucks over to do so. honestly i think that they should make a sequel to chrono trigger, they can get a whole new crew to do so... i dont thinking even cross had even half of chrono triggers original crew.
