If you have a swap meet where you live, you might be able to find one there.

Or you could try www.craigslist.com

You sure as hell will not find a cheap mint NES. Maybe one that has 1/10 chance of playing a game after blowing in it for 10min. And any mere step on the floor freezes it.

Mine still works quite well (when I last used it a couple years ago). Most of the games worked fairly consistently. Gotta love the old "blow on it" solution.

I used to have to do that with my Nintendo 64.

if you want to just play NES games and do not care about having the system itself, I would suggest getting the RetroDuo system, which plays NES games and SNES games. I'll post a link.

for realz?

the gamestop where i live wont even sell ps 1 games

btw i have two snes...

why dont you just get an emulator? that way you wont have to go through the hassle of trying to find good games for it that actually work?

http://www.zsnes.com/

zsnes is the best emulator program for snes. taht website has a lot of roms (files or games for znes)

i highly recommend it.

Video Game Convention? Ebay is probably the only place, but since you'd prefer not to use it'll be really hard trying to find one mint condition.

Another good emulator is Nestopia. And, if you want to have a classic feel like they play on an NES, I suggest ordering this...
