Pres. Musharraf has resigned..... I find this really really funny, Bush and admininstration fully backed the reign of pres. Musharraf of pakistan. People were cheering out on the streets of Islamabad, when he resigned..... And bush considered him an ally, lol...

He was a major U.S. supporter and ally on the war on terror.. why would Bush not back him? He made some bad calls at home and appeared more as a dictator to many Pakistanis. The fact that he actually resigned though, shows that in the end he didn't become one. Hopefully Pakistan will choose a new President that will still be an ally to us. It's within their financial interest to do so anyways.

also why is it so bad for us to have an ally with pakistan? i like alleys, so this isnt a slap to bush admin but to our homeland security, which is a direct slap to the whole citizen of the united states. its a good thing to have alleys. and like fiendfyer said, i hope they pick a new prez that was better but is willing to work with the US. its best in their financial intrest, and its good to have another alley in the middle east.

I think Bush should do the same. But that never happened and this late in the game, it would be pointless.

you do realize if he stepped down you would cheney instead? if i remember right you libs hate him just as much as bush. also chenny is apart of the bush admin, so it would still pretty much be the bush admin only with another name.

looking at what cheney voted for in the past and comparing him to bushes, guess what they are very similar. btw how is that bush is so stupid in your guys eyes, yet he's intelligent enough to be a puppet master of?
