Hey
In the book Lupin has the Marauders map. Lupin saw Harry, Ron and Herm. going to Hagrids. When Harry and Herm. went back in time, why didn't Lupin see two dots of Harry and Herm.???

Could be because they didn't belong to the current timeline.

He was probably concentrating on the Whomping Willow at that point and not looking at other parts of the map.
